Absolute best pool in the ACT. Mini water park with 3 different sized pools. A great place for picnics and swimming, and very family friendly.

Did the $20 tour. 90 min. Young contender Keely Small (800m) and her even younger long jump peer (Katie? with stress fractures) took little old me around the facilities. That was more fun than the actual facilities. I got to pick their brains. Very mature and engaging girls. From the bus stop i walked past the green machine training oval and the boys were going thru drills. Good morning for sports nuts like me.

In November 2019 I suffered a cardiac arrest while swimming hard. Fortunately I was seen by a friend who was supervising my swim and he pulled me to the side of the pool where I was attended to by the lifeguards on duty. They administered CPR to start then used the pool's defibrillator. I was taken to hospital by ambulance and placed in an induced coma for several days. There is no doubt that without the quick and professional actions of all involved (my friend, the lifeguards, ACT ambulance and the Calvary Hospital staff I would not be here to write this now.
