This place is superb! Was lucky to visit this place before in the ECQ. We came here January, good thing because we enjoyed the site alone. We are the first to come during that day. Entrance is Php 300 per head and Php 100 for the car 'cuz we actually brought our own service. The road is tight and only one car (sedan) can pass at a time. No worries, there will be a guide at the entrance to control traffic. There's a pub where we enjoy our lunch and got a taste of Baler authentic cuisine.

Apocalypse Now is one of my favourite films, and the famous surfing scene was filmed here in Baler. Now as far as surfing breaks go its quite small which makes it quite ideal for beginners. Its a good clean break with long rides. Sure there is better surf elsewhere in the PH but none with the history of Charlies Point.

On the way to Baler, from Costa Maya in Dinadiawan Beach, you will pass through this beach. First are the pebble and stone beaches. It makes you want to do some rock balancing or take creative shots! As you thought you have seen enough interesting things, you see these wonders, only a mighty and creative hand can create!

Dinadiawan has a nice long shore that is perfect for activities such as jogging or athletic trainings. The beach is clean, no sea weeds or trash just pure beauty of nature.

I went there yesterday, July 15, 2018. As a family, we wanted to relax so we took a quick overnight trip to Baler. We were not supposed to visit Ditumabo Mother Falls because of the hike but we were curious because of the reviews. Initially, we felt hesitant to try it but when our guide Michael, who was caring and patient, told us that we can do it and we need not rush, then, we decided to give it a try. Along the way, you will be amazed at the lush green surroundings; the rushing cool water is very relaxing. Though it was a tiring walk, when you get to see Mother Falls, then, you will say, it was all worth it. My daughter and I are on the heavy side and my husband does not like walking but this is a trip worth the effort. It was nothing for my son who was physically fit. The suspense before you see Mother falls even made the journey exciting. Going back was just half or 1/3 of going there. The trek is not too high but get ready to get wet along the way. Wear comfortable footwear - flip-flops, slippers or slip ons that can get wet. Wear something that can get wet also so that you won't have to change when you get there. There are no dressing areas when you get to the falls. There is a dressing area though when you get back. There is ample parking space so just leave your things inside the car and change after the trek. Their bathrooms/comfort rooms are well maintained since water is not a problem in Aurora. Bring water and food with you because there are no stores in the falls but there are stores before the start of the trek. Take a dip in the very cold water of the falls and try to get as close to the falls as you can because the water is not deep. It is very refreshing. The trip is not complete without a swim in the VERY clean water of the falls. There is also a crevice between the rocks where we were able to get real mineral water. Truly, you will appreciate God because of the beauty of Ditumabo Falls and the kindness of the locals in this part of Aurora.
