Jim Steele is a master! He plays captain, host and entertainer to all of his guests. Our cruise happen to include several pre-teens. Jim was well prepared and kept these young passengers delightfully entertained from the minute they boarded and up until we docked. In...MoreAw, shucks. Thanks so much. Always glad to have youngsters, almost always glad to have adults (just kidding). Come again anytime!

I like to walk the Bicentennial Trail. In the fall, the colors are spectacular. The main trail is about 4 miles long, 8 miles round trip. You can walk or bike the trail. I usually walk the entire 8 miles. It allows for exercise, fresh air, and solitude.

This vintage store is a great place to find the piece you are looking for. Lots of vintage clothing from any Era and all of it is in good condition. Prices are extremely reasonable. The owner is super helpful and will help you put together an outfit. She also has very interesting pieces of decor at reasonable rates...worth the stop

Riverbluff Park is located just off Tennessee Waltz Parkway on the banks of the Cumberland River, and it's a popular place to hold events. It has a boat dock, boat launch, soccer fields, pavilion, playground, restrooms, farmers and artisans market during warmer months, and a large open field with a stage. If you're standing near the boat dock, you can look across the river and see Sydney's Bluff. The park has plenty of picnic tables, and it's a great place to watch the barges and other boats float down the river or get in your morning walk.

I went to Brush Creek today to take photos. Operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Brush Creek has two docks, a boat launch, grills, a playground, a pavilion, and restrooms. It's a great place to fish or have a picnic. It's located across River Road from a market where you can purchase hot lunches and fishing supplies.
