A must for anyone. It is in the old post office, and has 3 exhibits. The one on the logging history was fantastic and I learned a lot. The one on the history of the town was neat, and the natural history was OK. The special exhibit about the Spanish Flu was amazing, and well timed.

Truly a unique shop! More than just antiques and collectibles. Seasonal decorations. Gourmet and handmade chocolate. Cigars, pipe tobaccos and accessories. Custom or off-the-shelf gift baskets. And in the fall, Antiques, Treasures and Treats becomes a Christmas Shop!

The O'Brien Theatre-Arnprior is an independent theatre in the Ottawa Valley. While we share the O'Brien name with the Renfrew theatre, the owners are not the same. A major renovation in 1999-2000 added a second screen upstairs where the balcony once was, new paint, seats, heat, A/C, snack bar, bathrooms etc. In 2012 we added new digital projection equipment, and in 2017 the street was rebuilt and we got a new front step area with wheelchair access. We are open 7 nights a week for 7:30 showtime (Just closed on December 24 & 25 Christmas Eve and Day) open every other holiday. We have Matinees at 1:30 every weekend and school holiday. This includes all long weekends, March Break, Summer Holidays and Christmas Holidays. (we do not have matinees on PA or PD days when students are off, but teachers are at work)
