My mum's friends kindly treated me to a voucher for my 50th Birthday, I booked in with Carly not realising this would change my life.... Carly is one of the most inspirational ladies I know, she is beautiful, positive and makes the entire experience a treat! I now see her once a month and I find myself relaxing before I've even arrived knowing that I'm off to see her. She has given me several top tips of changes to make so that I make time for myself in this busy world. I love the fact that Carly asks how I'm feeling then does me a treatment to cater for my needs that day, it's a surprise each time I go although my favourite is the hot stone treatment .... amazing!! I find Carly an expert in her field but also a role model. All of the staff there are polite and friendly so well worth a visit.

First trip back after lockdown. Very organised, table service that was very attentive and quick. Great range of beers at a good price.

Gedling Country Park is 580 acres of open space, footpaths and cycle paths with stunning views over the surrounding area. Created on the former site of Gedling Colliery, there's space to explore the outdoors with family and friends, opportunities for exercise activities and a chance to get close to local wildlife. The park also boasts one of the top play areas in the borough, incorporating the park's mining heritage with a rustic mining tower slide, mining train and old pit grasslands. The park has a toddler area, complete with swings, slides and a wheelchair accessible roundabout. The park is also home to Café 1899 which has everything you need after a long walk around the park. It serves hot and cold food, drinks and has seating with beautiful views of the park.
A truly enjoyable day. We had some food in the cafe which was very tasty accompanied by some very good coffee! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful (Despite the constant "Karen" requests from other "entitled" visitors!). We enjoyed a very nice walk and the children among us had a great time in the park!!
