The displays are very professionally presented with an excellent interactive screen that allows you to explore the history of the area. The current temporary display “Excess Baggage” which deals with the WW1 men and women who went to war and returned, explaining what it was like when they returned. Excess baggage referring to the wounds both physically and mentally that they had to deal with on return to Australia.

This place is for everyone. Biking, walking and running beside the lake with family and even by yourself. Pet friendly. You can swim at the lake too. Toilet within area and small play ground.
