What to do and see in Arkansas, United States: The Best Nightlife

June 4, 2021 Milan Banda

Living up to its billing as “The Natural State”, the state is a nature wonderland with three national forests, nearly 9,000 miles of pristine streams and rivers, awe-inspiring settings in the Ozark and Quachita mountains and sparkling lakes.

The menu of vacation experiences is an exciting one. For great golf, spas, horse racing and the Hot Springs National Park, Hot Springs is the place to go. Outdoor enthusiasts love the Ozark Mountains where activities like canoeing, rafting, kayaking, fishing, hiking and rock climbing are popular. The mountain village of Eureka Springs, with its streets lined with Victorian homes, is brimming with boutiques, antique shops and art galleries. Wine enthusiasts love the Arkansas Wine Country, encompassing the towns of Paris, Ozark and Altus, where German style wines are produced. From its ancient mountains to the Delta flatlands leveled by the Mississippi River, the state has a diverse topography with numerous scenic drives. Try the Pig Trail, Ozark Highlands and Sylamore scenic byways in the Ozark National Forest designated by the U.S. Forest Service. Golfers love the state because greens fees are extremely affordable for great courses. A few excellent public access courses are Sage Meadows in Jonesboro, Stonebridge Meadows in Fayetteville and the Mountain Ranch Course in Fairfield Bay.

A nice change of pace from the louder local bars & grills, great service with an excellent top shelf liquor selection, big screen tv's and two of the best maintained pool tables in town. Drink specials and don't forget to meet the owner, she rocks!

This was a really fun stop on our trip in the Fayetteville/Bentonville area. This is probably the best hard cider I've ever had and they have a delicious selection. We ordered flights and enjoyed them outside on the patio which is the only section open because of the pandemic right now.

Core Brewing Company Fayetteville Public House

Core Brewing & Distilling Company started in September of 2010. The founder, Jesse Core, began production on a 1-barrel RIMS brewhouse with 8 small fermenters. Our first client was Kingfish in Fayetteville. By 2012, we expanded our brewhouse to a 4-vessel, 25-barrel brewhouse with 4 x 25-barrel fermenters and 2 x 25-barrel Brite tanks. Demand grew quickly, and Core expanded again by adding 10 more 40-barrel fermentation vessels and 5 more 40-barrel Brite tanks. Recently, we have added 3 x 120 BBL Fermentors and 1 x 120 Brite. We are grateful that consumer demand has been high and driving our growth. At Core, we understand that our consumers expect high quality product and we aim to exceed their expectations. If we produce consistent product of high quality, demand will continue to grow. Additionally, our founder has established a culture of humility and hard work putting the emphasis on the customer and community. We are good people making good product. In 3 short years, we have grown from 0 to 500 barrels of sales per month. Our product is found in over 500 locations, and we have won numerous awards. The mascot of the company is a wiener dog. His name is Barney. He was a gift from Jesse’s mother, and Barney was a special member of the family for over 19 years.

This was the first time we have been to the Grove since they moved to Lowell from Rogers. We were not disappointed. Price of tickets very reasonable at $15, service to get your drinks and food was efficient even during the show. What was nice they got you your bill before the show ended so you were not waiting to leave. It was a very nice evening with friends. For an inexpensive evening and you want lots of laughs, check it out
