Monastery of Saint Nicholas of Sintza

Reviewed By Carmela83

After a pretty hair-raising drive (or a long walk up the mountain), this monastery really isn’t disappointing! Built into the rocks / cliff side, it boasts beautiful scenery and has quite a magical feel to it. A lone nun lives there for ten months of the year and so it is worth taking her some provisions if you feel like being generous.

Agios Demetrios

St. Demetrios is an Orthodox Christian church that was built on 1840. The history of that church is so long and so interesting that has much to tell us. If you are a visitor and you make trips in the Peloponnesean Peninsula, do not forget to visit this place. It also offers relaxation, because the view from there is definetely outstanding!
