Our driver, Bob was wonderful. Shared great stories about the eccentric characters and legends of the canyon. By the end it felt like we had made a new friend. I was particularly glad I didn’t have to do the driving on the 2 hour drive back. Totally worth it.

We booked a Localgrapher for a couples shoot in Arizona. The results were okay at best, and we regretted not seeking out an established local in the area. For the price, we received 60 very average choices and the ability to select 35 shots. We couldn’t even find 35 framed correctly. The localgrapher website is also a joke which requires a youtube video to figure out. The UI is terrible and the photos will disappear rapidly so do not wait to download (set aside a couple hours - that’s how bad it is). But really, just avoid. Hire someone directly.

We signed up for their all-day wildlife tour in early September. I’ll give them one point for a prompt refund and a sympathy point for their guide being sick, but there’s no excuse for not calling us to tell us that they had no guide available for our confirmed reservation. It was nice that they were trying to find another guide before calling us but I couldn’t try myself because I didn’t know we didn’t have a guide. Telling us in a voicemail that they could tell us where to look for the wildlife we said we wanted to see was nice, but not returning my call back to give me the promised info was disappointing. If you’re like me and you don’t want to spend your once-in-a-lifetime Yellowstone trip watching the road instead of wildlife and scenery because you had to drive your own car, you might want to try a more tenured tour company with more reviews (I noticed that all their few reviews were in only the last few months). When we told our bed and breakfast hosts what happened, they pointed out that their meeting point address was the local Super 8 motel. I’m all for supporting a local small business, but it didn’t work out this time.

My wife and I visited Joshua Tree with ECA, and we’re so glad that we did. While it’s a premium product, they really go above and beyond to deliver. Prior to the trip, we made a custom itinerary and did a pre-trip prep session with Ryan over Zoom that left us feeling fully prepared for the trip. When the day came, all we needed were the proper clothes and shoes, and ECA took care of the rest. First, when we were customizing our trip, Ryan let us know about the Borrego Springs sculpture gardens and we were able to start there. Absolutely wild to see these metallic monsters in the middle of the desert. We left Borrego Springs in the late morning and headed for an afternoon in Joshua Tree. Even across half a day, we explored the giant boulders, hiked among some incredibly unique plant life, saw the Joshua Trees and baby cactus garden, and took in a sunset at a desert oasis that you couldn’t imagine even existed. It’s amazing that the California desert could be so diverse, and that we could see so much of it in such a short time. While the day itself was amazing, what really sets Elite Custom Adventures apart is the photography. In less than a week we received over 50 digital photos from our experience, many using unique photography techniques, and these simply couldn’t be duplicated on an iPhone. We are so happy that we’ll have these memories forever, not just in our mind, but on our computer backgrounds, hanging on our walls throughout the house and on holiday cards to come!

We had an amazing day with our tour guide Bob from First Class Charters to the Grand Canyon! Bob was fantastic-funny, entertaining, and very knowledgeable. He had a great itinerary for the day but we got to go at our own pace. I would highly recommend!

Your daylong expedition starts at the Grand Canyon Airport (South Rim) with a 1-hour plane ride over the Grand Canyon's East Rim, the Colorado River, and Lake Powell. Then receive a picnic-style lunch and board your motorized raft to float 15.5 miles (25 km) along the Colorado River through Glen Canyon as your guide talks about the history and geology of the area. A 30-minute hike and continental breakfast are also included.
Inclusions: 1-hour flight from Grand Canyon National Park to Page, AZ, Smooth water rafting trip, Guided tour of Antelope Canyon, Ground transportation from Lee's Ferry to Grand Canyon National Park, Professional guide, Continental breakfast (muffin, yogurt, fruit cup, granola bar, juice), Lunch (sandwich, chips, cookie, bottled water)
Exclusions: Gratuities, Hotel pickup and drop-off
Flying over the Grand Canyon offered great views because you not only saw it from overhead, but also viewed different areas of the canyon. The plane held around 8-10 people and all seats were on a window. One side of the plane had a better view than the other based on the direction of the flight. We went counter-clockwise on the tour, so the left side was always looking at the canyon. It is a small plane, so the ride was very choppy.

It was fun learning how to make crepes, and I was surprised at how easy they were to make. Arthur is a really nice host. He's very well-organized and had everything prepared and provided the recipe afterwards. This was a unique activity to do in Phoenix and I'm glad I got the opportunity to learn how to make them.

Beyond Las Vegas shows, the most spectacular “show” of nature is Sunset at the Grand Canyon. This will prove why the Grand Canyon ranks among the 7 Natural Wonders of the World. Waning sunlight with red and orange spectrum pierces through clouds and sky. Direct light mixes splendidly with refracted light off the pigmented layers of the canyon. It is as if all the meticulous sculpting over millions of years by was just for this single moment. It is a debut performance that transcends the space continuum just for your viewing pleasure. Purge your stress and unwind by reconnecting with an ever evolving region of Nature held since primitive Earth. The tour is planned to allow our guests the best time for sunset views. This is enhanced by our special arrangement to park our shuttle closer to the prime location.
Inclusions: Admission to Grand Canyon West for sunset., Bonus Photo stop of Lake Mead, Round-trip transportation from select hotels , Box Lunch, Granola Bar, bottled water, Tour related fees and taxes.
Exclusions: Gratuities, All personal expenses
