We were lucky to use Sak Wine & Travel for our transfers and both of our excursions in Mendoza. Our guide and driver for our stay was Damian. Damian was very friendly and always on time. His knowledge of the Mendoza region was great, we learnt so much whilst driving around. The excursions we did were Wineries with lunch in Luján de Cuyo and High Andes with trekking - highly recommend both.

The walk with llamas is an activity in which the passenger will enjoy a short and enjoyable tour in the company of llamas. My llamas are very friendly and they are allowed to take close-up pictures. The route adapts to the need of the passenger, usually has a duration of two hours. While enjoying the walk, the geology of the landscape, the history and the native plants are interpreted with their medicinal use.

Half-day trekking in which you will enjoy a personalized activity. We will walk paths where the colors of the mountains will motivate us to interpret the different geological processes. The middle section of our route passes through a mud maze with vertical walls over 40 meters high. When we reach 2700 meters / nm we will rest, enjoying a unique landscape alone, maybe the condor will fly through our place of rest. The sun, the clouds, the wind will be our only travel companions. I offer you an activity in which we will walk 8 kms approximately. The circuit is located on the outskirts of Purmamarca being an exclusive place for which other people do not enter. It is a pleasant journey in which we will share stories about geology, native plants and their medicinal use, as well as the history of the region.

Inclusions: Personalized service

Exclusions: The participant must provide himself with a littoral of water.

The experience of discovering how german speaking immigration shaped the town look & feel, the architecture, and the mountain sports culture since the begining of times. This set the basis for the arrival of the last wave of immigation including the nazi presence (Erik Priebke). This also triggered some stories about Hitler living in the area. Staying at family hotel in Puerto Iguazu (Posada Los Tajibos) who gave advice as to how to get to Falls / what to do. Visited both sides of Falls on consecutive days, catching local buses from Iguazu on each occasion which was straightforward including the border crossing to Brazil. Brazil a much shorter area to cover (could do in 4 hour max) so incorporated a motorised rib up to / under the Falls which was great / wet. Following day went to Argentinian side which was far longer and a full day to do all 4 walks - there was a cataract ride from this side which looked better (bigger boat / larger waterfall) but would be difficult to do with all walks (omit Macuco?). Both worth doing to get different perspective but I think do Brazil 1st as Argentinian was for me better.

We really enjoyed this virtual live experience all together. And even-though we decided to "only" watch, due to the time difference (after dinner for us), we had a great time learning more about how to properly cook Empanadas. Thanks again to Camila for making it very interesting, "tasteful"and fun and giving us the chance to discover the world of Empanadas and also sharing insights about Argentina with us.
