This exploration will take you to the north side of Puerto Rico where we will Navigate thru the towns of Arecibo, Vega Alta, and Vega Baja. Our first stop will be the gorgeous Rio Tanama Waterfall in Arecibo where you will enjoy a swim in nature in one of the most seculded waterfalls on the island. This semi-adventure tour comes with a little bit of a hike through the river to one of Puerto Rico's most hidden gems. Our next stop is Vega Baja beach in the beautiful town of Vega Baja. This huge but secluded beach is perfect for a rock climb or just enjoy the beach views away from the crowds and other tourists. Lastly we visit El Manatial de Tortuguero, a gorgeous natural pool with beautiful lush landscaping surrounding it and the tranquility of tropical birds serenading us the forest. This full day is runs 5-6 hours with travel time.

This full-day trip includes 2 destinations away from the usual tourist crowds of San Juan and El Yunque. Enjoy part of the day hiking through the Cueva Ventana Caves in Arecibo (1hour outside of San Juan) next visit the beautiful Gozalandia waterfall in the secluded moutntains of San Sebastian. Hike your way up to the clifftop cave of Cueva Ventana, one of Puerto Rico’s top attractions, located in the Arecibo region of karst limestone peaks. After a short hike, shine a flashlight on bats and spiders as you learn from a naturalist guide about the cave’s formation and the Taíno petroglyphs carved inside. At one end of the cave, enjoy a window-like view of a lush valley and the Caribbean Sea.
