Sanna Bay Beach is a uniquely distinctive unspoiled beach & sheer remoteness dominated with captivating white sand & deep turquoise seawater that crashes against the cliffs. Located at the most westerly point of mainland Britain, between Sanna Point to the North & Ardnamurchan Point Peninsular to the South. Preferably come here on a sunny day to fully appreciate the jaw dropping majestry of mother nature at her most striking scenery on an unimaginable level. The overwelming joy of Senna Bay Beach lies in its unspoilt coastal sceenery with its wide open expanse. If you come with binoculars & sit quietly it is qiite possible to spot Dolphins, Wales, Sea Egles, Otters, & Pine Martens on a good day. Tips. There are no shops of fertility's so come with something to eat & drink etc. There is a small free car park. There is a small trek from the car park to the beach of say 5 minutes walk. There are no toilets. Best time to come is late morning & spend the day till mid to late afternoon to fully expierece the best beaches you will find anywhere in the World. Does this beach get my aproval? what do you recon? We love anything wild nature, you coudn't get more wild or more nature that this.

Famous in being most westerly but the spot of the lighthouse and cafe are brilliant with amazing views across the islands. The cafe didn't really so lunch (no soup etc) which was a shame but we survivied on crisps and cake! Well worth the drive out there to see even though the vistor centre was shut. - there is an amazing fog horn!

This tour is a must do for visitors to Ardnamurchan even if you are not a huge fan of a wee dram. The distillery is only a few years old and combines a mix of new technology with a strong emphasis on being sympathetic to the local environment. There is very little wastage from the distillery and the staff are very proud of how they work with the local community. Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgable and you could really tell how passionate she was about the whole business. Our only regret is that we won't be there at the end of the month when the first barrel of spirit becomes whisky for the first time!
