It is a charming place, where the native species of trees such as araucaria and birds are preserved, while you go all over the park you can do trekkking, picnic, or go watch the sunset at the stone lookout of el aguila which offers a unique view, where yes or if you have to take pictures and pick up the trails with their unique vegetation. It is a paronama for the family friends or lovers of nature. The entrance to the park costs 1500CLP and has tourist guides.

We spent two days hiking in this park. Sendero Sierra Nevada rates up there with one of the best hikes I’ve ever done. It provides astounding views of Volcan Llaima and Laguna Conguillío plus old growth Coigue and Auracaria forests and meadows of alstomeria and aster. The road from Malipeuco is paved up to the entrance to the national park. From there on the road is unpaved, rough, and narrow but still perfectly doable in our rented Peugeot 2008 crossover.

Saltos Pocolpen is a private park located in the commune of Curarrehue that has an area of 222,000 m² in which you will find forests, waterfalls, cliffs, mountain and hill views, domestic and wild fauna. We have trekking trails suitable for all public and well signposted. We have picnic area and stoves for roasts (must carry coal). The restrictions are: At the end of your visit you must remove the generated garbage and the entry of pets is not allowed. The main attraction are three beautiful little-known waterfalls that go down the Pocolpen estuary. During the trip to the place you can enjoy views of the impressive Lanin volcano, Peinetas hill, Colmillo del Diablo hill and Pocolpen hill, at any time of the year these views are beautiful but in autumn they are a real spectacle. The best thing is that you check them yourself. We will wait for you!

You can see the red magma (molten rock) at the top of this still active volcano.
An intriguing active volcano begging adventurers to climb it, ski all around it and toboggan your way back to the bottom. A fun day out for sure – just make sure you have quality gear to protect from the elements!

Twenty-one slate covered pools with hot and cold thermal water in Chile's lake district.
Amazing architecture and simplicity integrated completely with the most amazing nature! The almost 1.5h drive is totally worth it, just make sure you have enough time to relax and explore different springs and water temperatures. You only need your swim suit and flip flops, anything else you may need, towels, locker key etc they provide you there, while the facilities / changing rooms etc are very clean and tidy. The evening time would be also amazing! And if the weather is cloudy, event better!

2 nights in this place was one of the top highlights of our 3 week travels thro Patagonia Chile and Argentina. It's up there amongst the big boys for its beauty, tranquility and amazing scenery and treks.
