Join a micro-group of just 8 guests for a relaxing, rewarding and stimulating tour full of scenic diversity. Birds eye views of cities, vast farmland, famous wine regions, extinct volcanoes, coastal icons, shipwrecks, rainforests and winding cliff top roads. Add to this some great food and wine and small group of like-minded travellers and you have a very memorable 3 days. The itinerary has been carefully planned so that you will take in many different experiences while keeping the schedule at a comfortable and relaxed pace. The first part of this tour through farmland on route to Naracoorte Caves and the Coonawarra wine region is less visually spectacular and is therefore done at a faster pace to allow more time on the Great Ocean Road. Traveling in a small group of no more than 8 people will also allow you more time at places and a more personalised experience.

Inclusions: 2 nights accommodation, Breakfast, Breakfast, Dinner, Dinner, National Park fees, Wine tasting, Live commentary on board, Hotel pickup and drop-off, Transport by air-conditioned minivan

Exclusions: Lunch, Alcoholic drinks (available to purchase)

My friend and I booked this 2 day trip to Daylesford as an impromptu addition to a weekend in Melbourne. It was just the two of us, and our guide, Jurgon, tailored the trip as we went to suit us as he got to know us. Jurgon was a charming, thoughtful and knowledgeable guide. We enjoyed two “hatted” dining experiences in the one day and over the weekend a mix of landscapes, history, cider tasting mixed with some interesting local artisan shops and experiences. By the time Jurgon left us at the airport we felt like old friends. Both of us agreed we’d do it all again in an instant.

We had a great day with this company. Pre-tour, we dealt with James whose communication was immediate and thorough. He gave his honest option on car sickness, which was very accurate. Thankfully his recommendation of what to do worked out well and I got through it in one piece. Word to the wise, you do spend a lot of time in the car on the one day tour so car sickness might be a problem for some people. If this sounds like you and you have the additional day up your sleeve, best to pick their 2 day option. Alas, we only had one day, so we had to bite the bullet. On the day, Aaron was our guide. We got some incredible snaps, as he had a great talent for getting us to great picture spots when there wouldn’t be a lot of people there. I’m not sure if this was by accident or on purpose, but I expect the latter. He was also very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna and we got to meet his wife en-route and she came out of her house beside the road, to wave to us and to give Aaron his work packed lunch for the day. It was nice to know we were being driven around by a real local. And because he was local, he really did seem to deliver us to some delightfully quiet but equally picturesque spots along the way.

Henry gave us a great tour of Phillip Island, aided by some beautiful weather (thanks melbourne). He was a very knowledgeable guide and just a great guy to have to spend the tour with. We had a close family friend who warned us from doing a trip down to Phillip Island. They hated it. But the more I read up on the island, the more I realised that most other people that had visited the island, overwhelmingly had a positive experience. But now I understand why my friend hated it. They took a bus tour and when we compared notes on our tour, they described the places they stopped. Well they only visited 3 stops. We visited about 10 different locations and half of them were definitely not on the tourist map as we were the only ones there. But to be honest, these were my favourite stops. They were well away from the tourist buses and in fact probably not accessible to the buses as we went down some narrow roads. But the wildlife there was out of this world. So look, if you are going to to Phillip island at all, find out where you will be taken. How much value for money are you getting. Are the tickets included. Is there an advantage to taking a private tour. How well does your group mix with other people you have never met. Do you want to go and your own pace or happy to go at the pace set by the rest of the group. Do you want to be picked up from your hotel doorstep or are you happy to jump on a tram to meet the bus tour. Obviously these are not questions my friends asked before she booked her tour. So really, do your research people or you will just end up on a tour that isn’t right for you. There are lots of options so nobody out there should be licking the wrong tour for them.unless you are a lazy click and book person like my friend!

Andrew was a fantastic tour guide. We had such a relaxing tour and the tour was customized to what we wanted. He asked questions to get to know the people in the group and played whatever music we requested. He has a great sense humor. We would highly recommend Andrew and this wine tour to anyone. Thanks Andrew especially for the experience with relieving our childhood in a children’s ball Pitt and your participation.

Touring the Great Ocean Road is one of the most scenic drives in Australia. The road itself is listed by the Australian National Heritage and is rich with amazing sights, landmarks, and history – including the famous Twelve Apostles limestone formations. On this tour, we drive the road in the opposite direction, starting from the south-west coast and working back, which allows us to avoid the crowds from other tour buses, and we get the boring part of the drive out of the way first, saving the best of the Great Ocean Road to last. A two-day tour means we can take our time along the way, so that you will never feel rushed. The only timeline we have is to ensure we arrive on time at the Twelve Apostles for sunset. This tour is suited to millennial's, 18-to-Thirtysomethings and is jam packed with amazing destinations and activities.

Inclusions: Accommodation as per itinerary, Overnight accommodation, Buffet dinner, Breakfast, Coffee and/or Tea

Exclusions: Lunch
