We loved this little modern art museum. Unlike most of the modern art museums, where I couldn't understand or relate to most of the art work. The art work at the Towada Art Center was more relatable. It's a great place to stay a few hours on your way to the Oirase Keiryu.

While we hiked through around the woods and into the lake, we were so close to the nature. The sweet smell of Katsura, the sound of the water flowing around and the singing of the birds were hard to described by words. The aoike was gorgeous. Definitely hire a guide when hiking around, you’ll enjoy it!

The Tachi-Neputa House is a museum that displays parade floats featured in the city's Neputa summer festival. These huge floats are 23 metres high and made of wire and rice paper. The workmanship of these floats is simply amazing and the museum's set up allows visitors to walk around to see the floats from all angles along the 3 floors. Well worth a visit!

It is a wonderful place. The coast is in front of a big grassland. There are a lot of seagulls. The grass is green in summer. It should be the best time to go there.

This is a must see park when the cherry blossoms are in bloom during April. The trees are full and magnificent. There is a lot of food and things to buy on sale during the Cherry Blossom Festival in April. The tree are lit up very beautifully at night which is very romantic and beautiful to see. Well worth a visit
