Plantentuin ' De Kleine Boerderij' Merksplas

Plantentuin

On a rainy morning it was an excellent idea to visit the Plantentuin. Cosy, and intimate. Very peaceful in centre of tuin. Lots of interesting plants and shrubs. Some trees and water features. Compact but worth the visit. In a hidden corner tucked away there is a restful cafeteria for refreshments and local beers.

Park Vordenstein

Reviewed By daffystjob - Manchester, United Kingdom

As a kid, I went past this park on a daily basis on the bus but I can't remember ever going in, and now that seems such a shame. We entered the park through a wooded area and through some charming gates into a walled garden. Despite in being October, flowers were still in bloom and the variety of plants were fast. This is a great park for young and old. There is a cafe in the park which was closed on the day we went but looks like it's well loved on busier days.
