the moutain is a little bit far from our city, it's the only place to climb a moutain,so when festival or other rest time, there would be gethered many people.at the top of the moutain, there would be a whole scenery of the city ,village, and fields.for our locals,it's available

ChangBaiShan Ski area, quite nice but Best in the world, or Best in Asia as they seem to think of themselves as evidenced by their advertising? I don't think so sorry.
While the skiing was good and fun I thought the runs were a bit short. Lots of corduroy on the 1st days, a mix of man made and natural powder a meter deep on the wilder trails.
There are 3 lifts from in front of the hotel 'town' area. The E, F & G lifts. E is a 8 person enclosed chair going to the top of the E trails both Blue intermediates but real short. I was practicing skiing fast and it took exactly 1 minute to get back down to the lift.
F is a 6 pax enclosed chair going to the top of a couple of Green beginner slopes.
G is an 8 pax gondola to the top from where you can do a couple 'Black' runs and a few Blues.
Also from here you have access to the top of the L slopes which have their own chair lifts but these had not opened yet. You can also get to the S slopes, 4 Black and 2 Blue all with their own Gondola.
The grading system in China seems a bit generous. And not accurate. So while I would find the G1, G2 & S2 Black trails nicely groomed and quite easy. I found the deep powder of the S5, S6 past my skill level. So, I would suggest they adopt the diamond system to differentiate between the levels of the Black trails.
Anyway,we had fun and its only a 90 minute flight from Beijing and not as cold as the other NorthEast China Ski areas. The coldest it got during our 7 days was about minus 29C (-20F) and the warmest -1C in snow (+30F).
If you're going to ski in China this place is good.

A private tour helps tourists to find out a place better. This is particular the case for my trip to this town. Very impressive hygiene standard, particularly clean public toilets, honest local people, local traffic management, sceneries' traffic control, and environmental protection are truly processional. I believe the achievement doesn't come in a matter of days, it takes a long time to progress to where they are at today.
The long queue during peak season is a headache for everybody. I don't know how to improve but clearly there's room for it. In this respect north Tianchi is better organised than west.

You can call this museum the face of this small town. They don't have a lot of exhibits. But the history of the region and topology, plantations, wild lives, and sceneries are all clearly informed. I'm impressed by the high standard of English translation of exhibits. Actually the translation in this small town is among the best in China. Equally impressed is the high hygiene standard in this museum and across the whole town. If you want to find out why the town is named one of the best towns in the world, this is a place worth to go.

Our tour included a visit to the park. Right after the visit to the Changbaishan scenic spot and on our way back to the hotel. We had a stop there for 20 minutes. It was a small park with plenty of pine trees grown there. The pine trees seemed to be the only plantation grown in the park. The tree trunks were tall and brown in color. After a few minutes walk on the path, with tall pine trees by your sides, and a glimpse of setting sun through the woods gave you a feeling of calmness. We found a small mushroom on the grassland....... We took some pictures and then left.

Before leaving Jilin Province, we visited the Hongqi Village. We were guided by a representative of the village to show us around. We visited the museum and were explained of the livelihood of Korean people in old days. Also, we were being invited to make a home visit to one of the villager. I felt like the whole visit was so commercial. Also, the show together with the lunch was not so good. Just ordinary dancing and the dishes were no good.
