Hip-Notics Cable Ski

This is my 4th visit to Hipnotics. Even with the COVID situation I felt safe to travel there. Baris and his team have made sure all precautions are in place. Everything is outside in the glorious Turkish weather so social distancing is easy! Everyone respects the guidance in place. The awesome food/produce is sourced from safe areas and prepared/served by the staff wearing gloves and masks. The house keeping has been minimized to reduce contact but everything in the rooms is spotlessly clean. During the stay I felt safe at all times and as usual has the best week away in paradise! Thank you Baris ????

This 12-mile long beach is also a National Park. Its proximity to the ruins keeps hotels from developing in the area, making it great for uncrowded swimming as well as bird watching.

A series of flames that spurt from cracks in the rock, which are caused by the combustion of natural gas seeping out of the mountain at the ancient site of Olympos.

Mt. Olympos (Tahtali Dag)

Reviewed By 132vitaliib

Our group aged 25-50 started the hike from the Beycik village (we got there by a taxi). The elevation of the Tahtali mountain is 2365 m. The altitude range between the top and the Beycik is about 1300 m, and the hiking distance is about 8 km long. We have reached the top for 5 hours. The landscapes are amazing. During the hiking we saw many Lebanon cedars: the trees known by their historical and cultural importance in countries of Middle East. The return trip was by a cable car. I recommend the trip for all who like the moderate mountain hiking.

Kekova Island

Reviewed By carolas936 - Marietta, United States

Kekova Sound is on the southern coast of Turkey, protected the open Mediterranean by Kekova Island. As there are few roads traversing the rugged landscape, it is best explored by boat: sailboats, motorized tour boats, glass bottomed boats, canoes and kayaks are all available for hire at the Üçağız village docks. Rocky limestone headlands plunge into the sound, forming little bays, inlets and lagoons perfect for swimming. Occasional fish can be spotted in the crystal-clear water. On the northern side of Kekova Island are the partly sunken ruins of Dolchiste (Greek:Dolikisthe), an ancient town destroyed by an earthquake in the 2nd century. The town was rebuilt and flourished during the Byzantine Empire period, but abandoned because of Arab incursions. Ancient buildings and walls are visible on the steep shore and submerged under water (the ruins are protected, so shore excursions and swimming are not permitted). The northwest of the island has another abandoned town, Tersane, meaning "dockyard", as its bay was the site of an ancient city Xera and harbor.) It has ruins of a Byzantine church. This area of Turkey is called the "Turquoise Coast", for its beautiful natural landscape and clear waters. I enjoyed a day cruise, watching sea birds from our boat. As i viewed the rugged landscape, I could see why boat traffic connected coastal towns and facilitated commerce. Protected harbors such as Kekova Sound would have been very desirable. Viewing sunrise or sunset reflected in the sound is a sublime experience.

Termessos

Approximately 34 kilometers northwest of Antalya lies Termessos and the beautiful Güllük Dagi National Park. The ancient Psidian city is built on a mountain platform, surrounded by pine woods and an abundance of rare plants. It’s one of the best preserved historical sites of Turkey and, due to its isolated location, an oasis of calm and tranquility.

Kursunlu Waterfalls

Reviewed By inflexible85 - Canakkale, Turkey

Kurşunlu Waterfall National Park is a natural wonder where you can breathe and cool off in a hot city like Antalya, where you will find peace in many shades of green. It is easy to access and there is no parking problem. You buy tickets for a small fee and enter the park. A few cafes welcome you as soon as you enter. From there, you go down the stairs and you will face with the wonderful waterfall. If you want, you can pass behind the poured water through natural tunnels and you can touch the water. It is said that the water level changes from time to time. The event doesn't stop here after seeing the waterfall. You continue walking with the paths and bridges formed in a 2-kilometer-long lush canyon and finally return to the place where you entered again. In the meantime, while walking in the canyon, you will also find an excellent cafe. You should definitely see the Kursunlu Waterfall.

Koprulu Kanyon Milli Parki

East of Anatlaya you'll find the clear and beautiful river Köprü. Shortly after Beskonak is the starting point of the canyon and a white water rafting tour. Two Roman bridges mark the beginning. The canyon is 14k meters long.

This national park can be visited at any time of year. In the summer or Spring you can go canoeing and whitewater rafting. If you do not want to go on a tour then just drive to the park and you can easily find other independent people looking to split the cost and go rafting. The price will include all the equipment, bringing you back to the start and lunch. I can highly recommend doing this! If you are not so active there are amazing views, picnic spots and lovely walks a long the river. There are two Roman bridges which should not be missed. The scenery is particularly spectacular in autumn with all the different colors of the leaves.
