Played 3 rounds of golf at this course and all 3 rounds were wonderful, the grounds were well taken care of and the course was challenging. Worth a round if you especially if you stay at the Ritz Carlton next door.

We are miniature golf people. This is a fun, challenging, well-kept course and we always go several times when we visit Fernandina Beach. It is not wheel-chair friendly, so keep this in mind. Stairs and steps all the way through. If you like this sort of entertainment, go & have fun!

Oak Marsh Golf Course

Classic Pete Dye-design stretches 6,500 yards at par 72, which features tight fairways and small greens winding along salt marsh creeks bordered by towering oaks.

Reviewed By E7119HRmikew

Classic lowland course. Fairway were bounded by craggley old oak trees or marshes on almost every hole. Fairways appear a little tight from the tees but were generous enough to be fair. Dye always makes your approach shots matter. Every hole was a potential double bogey if you short sided your self by the green. Many elevated greens with false fronts or deep drop offs into bunkers. Small greens, too. Still, a very fun course to play and beautiful scenery. Nice staff and beautiful patio overlooking the 9th green.

Amelia River Golf Club

The Amelia River Golf Club consists of 18 challenging holes where ball control and accuracy are key to a great round. The par 72 layout, that opened in 2000, gives the golfer a natural low country feel as the course winds through native water oaks, palmettos and southern pines. One of the most fun and enjoyable courses in Northeast Florida and always in pristine condition! Enjoy all of the convenience and value of a community golf club without the high monthly cost and long term commitment of a private club. Simply the best golf club value on Amelia Island!

Up from Boynton Beach on vacation. Played a round of golf on Thursday, August 16. Course is well kept. Relearning the game and Amelia River Golf Club was a great place to challenge me. Even from the white tees it was an excellent experience. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Small pamphlet describing every hole was an excellent tool for a newcomer to this course. Lunch afterwards was excellent. I highly recommend this course for all levels of players; I started out alone and met up with a solo lady (played excellent golf) and a very experienced player who played from the blue tees. Both were extremely friendly and added to my enjoyment. Will return next trip.

Beautiful 27 hole course and the best golf value on the island. We love playing this course when we are in town. With three different nines, it is a challenging layout and in good shape at this time. The bar and grill is also very good for breakfast or lunch. The golf staff is helpful and friendly and pro shop has good prices.
