That's a brand new place of interest in my native town. It is something to be proud of- THE HIGHEST IN EUROPE. And it is totally MADE BY LT :) just lifting of constructions was made by company from abroad.
Views are super nice all year. You will park around 1,5km away and walk/ride a bike to the bridge while enjoing Lithuanian Forests.
Near parking lot there are two small lakes with Beaches so you can swim and enjoy volleyball, boats or make your own barbeque, there are speacialle fire places made for that.
when crossing the White Rose Bridge you can go to the Old Alytus Mound and Sculpture Park of Pagon Gods.
on the bridge there is a nice sculpture with a symbol of our town- ROSE
you can plan there to be all day or at least 1,5hour

I am originally from Alytus so I was even more delighted to see a vast improvement in this museum. As kids we have visited on a couple occasions but let's say this museum was rather 'static' and didn't change much to visit it frequently. It had refreshed now. They had Easter exhibition at the time of my visit. Another area of the museum has interactive facilities. You can also use a program which functions as 'Google Maps' so you have a walk through old Alytus, compare buildings from that time and today. On the first floor there is a room with the whole 'timeline' of Alytus since its establishment. You can read old documents, watch pictures, listen to stories. I was pleasantly surprised the admission is free on Wednesdays. Overall it was a good experience however I wanted to see more history of our ancestors Yotvingians. The staff was very friendly and helpful though.

So that kind of a park is the only in region, and if you would like to exercise a bit so just go for it.
You pay for time spent their so longest and hardest rope track may cost a little bit more, or you can buy only a zip run above river Nemunas.
Also you can have picnic there.
they opened a safe track for children, you have to pay extra for that.
You can buy some snacks there.
some times they have outside Concerts and festivals.
there are more atractions but I have tried only ropes

Molto bella all'interno.
