Beautiful park! Camped 6 nights. Rained a lot first couple of days, so we didn't hike, but wanted to. Just too buggy and muddy. Beautiful lake martin. Watched the boats from our waterfront site. We mainly just relaxed and hung out. Would love to come back someday, but we live in Florida so hopefully next time we're heading north.

Lake Martin has the cleanest, clearest water I have ever seen. I grew up swimming and boating in Mobile Bay and Gulf Shores- I know dirty water! Lake Martin is almost too good to be true. It's unbelievable! Also, no worrries about jelly fish or alligators! I may never swim or boat anywhere else!

several fishing trips ago the fish weren't biting, so looked for something to do in trip advisor & wound up here. An excellent visit & tour, well worth the money if you are into cars & Mopars, and very interesting even if you are not.

Checked this place out in July, thinking of bringing my boat here instead of trailering it when we come. They have well maintained slips and dock area, good service department. Prices are reasonable for the area, from what I could tell. I think I may do this next spring.

We took our three youngest grandchildren to visit the Southern Star Farm. The owner was so courteous and took a lot of time with us to show us his Alpacas. Beautiful farm and beautiful animals. Besides the Alpacas the children got to see horses and beautiful white dogs. We also visited the gift shop and purchased socks and other items.
