There are lots of beach types, and with 20 very different beaches to choose from, Albufeira delights them all. Hugging the coast in Portugal’s southern Algarve region, this prime vantage point showcases sparkling white houses with Moorish flair, breathtaking multi-hued cliffs, and old fortress remnants that ground modern amenities with a charming historical flair.

I think it was one of the best horseback riding that i've ever had. The view was beautiful and i loved the photos they took. Thank you very much! Loved the horses as well.

A long and beautiful beach flanked by spectacular cliffs, it sure makes for a great walk...at the end (or the beginning, depending on your starting point) there's also a viewpoint, accessible by wooden steps, simply amazing!

There are two nice beaches in Guia, Laurenco and Gale. Laurenco has beautiful cliffs but little parking and this year the water was high so you couldn’t really stay on the beach most days. Gale on the other hand is much more developed, with more parking and a restaurant. Access is easy to the beach with few steps but you can walk to the east along the beach and get some shelter in beautiful cliffs.

Small beach, hidden behind the hills, just outside Albufeira. Hard to get without car. Small, great soft sand, and some interesting rock cliffs. Couple arches, visible at low tide, and nice panoramic view from the top.
