SunCatchers Design Studio is a stained glass studio that has been providing Alberta with custom stained glass since 1979. Classes and supplies are available. The River Dragonfly, next to the studio, is a small eclectic shop in a beautiful natural setting tucked in the woods. In it you will find art works, jewelry, clothing, antiques and a mix of beautiful objets d'art. Open everyday during Decemeber 11:00 to 6:00. Closed Christmas Day - Boxing Day by chance - call to confirm.
My husband and I booked a day at Suncatchers Design Studio to learn more about Stained Glass. It was an immersive day and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Elizabeth is a lovely teacher who is very passionate about her craft, providing us with lots of interesting information and tips throughout the day. We were able to make a small hanging design each to take away. It was very rewarding. There is also a charming shop next to the studio which is worth a look, lots of unusual items within. There is parking available and there are no stairs involved. You are close to the Hamlet so plenty of choice for food and drinks during lunch breaks.

Many thanks to Ed, the resident gunsmith, for his great ideas and suggestions in my recent exercise of "reimagining" an old rifle! I appreciated his delicate touch in the work required and his masterful problem solving. Superb service and great work! Thanks!

I love this cafe! Amazing books and merchandise to paruse. It has the feel of an old English book shop. So comfortable and cozy!

I wandered into Sugar Pine expecting to find some lovely fabrics. But I was amazed at the size of the store, and the extensive selection of fabrics, all beautifully arranged, with lots of precuts, too. Many gorgeous quilts are also displayed, with patterns or kits available for most. Any other Covid-quilting-newbies like me? You need to know about this place! It’s worth a trip to Canmore.

A fusion between fine chocolate & fashion, JACEK Chocolate Couture is a contemporary artisan chocolatier committed to spreading joy through finest / high-quality and ethically sourced chocolate & cacao. I have been enjoying the whole Jacek experience since they were first sold at a local Farmers Market. I have given their chocolates to so many people locally and to people in at least six countries around the world. They will travel with me to Curacao this weekend as a host gift on our latest adventure. From the top down the management and staff are all wonderful and it is obvious that they are passionate about all forms of chocolate.

I've been a repeat customer of Chinook Honey for several years. Actually drive out from Calgary. The reason I keep returning is the superb quality of their products and the genuine sincerity of the staff and owners. Every month I look forward to the newsletter and introduction of new products, especially the honey mixes and jams and jellies. It's a country store setting with a flair for the unique. Don't underestimate it for special gifts. Jimbo,
