The home of Dr Kron is still standing with a little history lesson with it. In the summer there are canoes you can rent on Lake Tillery, a swimming pool to enjoy and plenty of trails and camping. For a day trip you can drive to the top of the mountain for a picnic lunch and see for miles. the only thing the views are missing is some type of sign to inform visitors what they are seeing in the distance.

We are a small winery, family owned and operated. We have a fabulous view that over looks the Uwharrie Mountain range and also Lake Tillery. Come share our view!
My girlfriend and visited the winery yesterday, Sunday 11/29/2020.Drove just over a couple of hours to get there, came in and were warmly greeted by Sheena, (who did a wonderful job as our hostess), had a couple glasses of wine out on the deck, met some new friends, and bought a case of wine to take home, to include 6 bottles of my all time favorite Blackberry wine. I really needed this trip to recharge. It was very relaxing and the views from the back deck are beautiful. This was my 10th visit to Stony Mountain and I have thoroughly enjoyed each trip. Besides, I have to come replenish my supply every so often. I will be sure to return when my stock runs low. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
