Al Hoceima (Riffian language: Taghzut or Villa, Arabic: الحسيمة) is a city in the north of Morocco, on the northern edge of the Rif Mountains and on the Mediterranean coast. It is the capital of Al Hoceima Province. It is situated in the territory of the Ibeqquyen tribes of the Rif, who speak Tarifit Berber, locally called Tamazight.

Overcrowded beach with somewhat dirty sand, expensive rates to rent beach umbrellas, disrespectful football men who play football near people and don't bother throwing sand at you, etc... We stayed there no more than 2 hours.
Instead, I would recommend to go the Cala Bonita beach, which is by far the best in the region.

Squid and sardines, yum. Out of the way and requires effort to reach Al Hoceima, yet definitely worth every winding road to reach the port. One of a kind unique spot in Morocco.

It is the 1st beach you encounter before heading to al hoceima. Big parking and plenty of cafes and places. Great sceneries. It is mostly known for faving the tiny rock islamds that belongs to Spain while they are in Moroccan water.it is a good beach but not the best. There are more as you go in al hoceima side.

An amazing beach just outside Al Hoceima city. Blue water and great sceneries. You can rent jet ski, kayaking or enjoy endless swim. Beautiful water

That was my most enjoyable beach experience in the region : very clean sand and water, you can see fish swimming below you just few meters from the shore, respectful people, friendly local swimmers that help you climb to different rock spots and cheer to you when you dive from (1 to 6 meters of height), fair rates to rate beach umbrellas (40dh per day)
Can't recommend it enough!!

Nice places to picture... You Can enjoy the Sea, sun... and relax in a quiet area. So, natural, so good.
Scuba diving center, located by the national reserve of Al Hoceima.
