~ Japan's only gallery & shop where traditional craft items all over the country gather in one place ~ We would like to inform you that Aoyama Square will close from December 29 (Sun) to Jan. 3 (Fri) for New Year Holidays. We will open from Jan. 4 (Sat) 2020.
The gallery staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable about the various crafts on sale, providing useful advice to make sure you are happy with your purchase. When I visited, a couple of craftsmen were conducting demonstrations on their work, and one member of staff in particular who spoke excellent English went out of her way to translate what the craftsman was saying throughout the session! It was hands-down the best place for quality souvenirs that I saw during my time in Japan.

We attended our daughter's Shinto wedding ceremony at this beautiful shrine last week. It is an oasis in the middle of a crazy busy city. I listened carefully, no sound of the city penetrated the peaceful gardens. The Shinto priests were so incredibly kind and helpful during the ceremony. The shrine staff helped all of us guests throughout the event. Our daughter and son-in-law had helpers for every stage. Two women helped our daughter with her makeup, hair, and getting into the beautiful kimono. I definitely recommend it if you would like a peaceful, serene interlude during your time in Tokyo.

This upscale mini city includes a mix of luxury and mainstream shops, plus restaurants, museums, a park, and the Ritz Carlton. There's also a bilingual concierge and currency exchange.
Large complex of buildings with high end shopping and a large variety of restaurants. Houses the Ritz Carlton at the highest levels. Easy to access by subway.

This park is a gem. It’s peaceful and in November the fall colors are gorgeous. It’s a few minutes walk from my hotel The B. Roppongi. I had my lunch on a bench and watched lots of people strolling and taking pictures. Great spot for kids since there’s a playground area.
