Westfield Airport West is always clean and attractive, it is a credit to the management.. It is a neighbourhood shopping centre, Westfield has Coles and Woolworths, and Aldi has expanded greatly. There are lots of specialty shops, including jewellers. Several coffee shops serve a good brew if you need a pick-me-up.. Westfield Airport West is not destination shopping, but it serves the surrounding area well. It's a typical Westfield property. For serious shopping, most people head to Highpoint, which is not all that far away. Highpoint is one of Melbourne's biggest shopping complexes.

Weather Station Park and Playground has several features that will please all the family. For the young ones, it has three playgrounds in a line. The grassy centre of the park will suit older children who want to kick a ball around. There's shaded picnic tables and seats, with BBQs. The water fountain is conveniently located. The area is quite well protected. The grove of trees in the park mainly consists of natives. Dogs are allowed on leash, but park users are encouraged to pick up any doggy litter.
