It is located at around 30°41′52″N 6°26′59″W / 30.69778°N 6.44972°W / 30.69778; -6.44972. Agdz lies at the feet of Djebel Kissane and along the shores of the Draa River.

The tour company we booked with was Deep Morocco Tours. Our guide, Hamid, was excellent. His vehicle, a Mercedes SUV, was clean and comfortable. Hamid graciously allowed us ample time to take a multitude of photos of the goats in the trees on our way to Essaouira. He then spent most of the day doing exactly what we loved doing ... SHOPPING! We told him he didn’t have to stay with us while we went through almost every shop in town but he chose to stay with us even after one of us had to buy an extra suitcase to bring more souvenirs home. He pulled the suitcase around town while it was filled. What a guy! He took us to a lovely rooftop restaurant that overlooked the Atlantic for a fabulous seafood lunch. What a pleasant, relaxing day. The icing on the cake was when he contacted us a day later to let us know I forgot my bag of Argan oil in his vehicle. Somehow it slid up under the seat and I didn’t notice it missing. He even delivered it to our hotel. I highly recommend this company and Hamid as a guide. It was the best day out of the 4 we spent in Marrakech.

We did a shore excursion from Casablanca to Marrakech, professional driver, always following the speed limit, guide covered everything that we ask for. Good communication by email or whatsapp. The people from the ship who stayed in Casablanca complained a lot, not a good place to spend the day. So take the tour and enjoy Marrakech.

I am so HaPpY because, I originally booked a 3 day tour in Fes and Chefachaoun and have now extended it for another 6 days or so... to explore the south and the desert to complete in Marrakech. it all started very good with Moha our guide picking us up from our accommodation on time. this agency is taking all the precautionary COVID-19 measures. we started journey 7 am through the beautiful landscapes of the High atlas mountains, few stops in viewpoints with panoramic views on Berber villages in the mountains. after 4 hours drive we arrived to the magical ait Ben Haddou with was the highlight of the trip, our lovely guide Moha is very friendly and well informed about the history and the culture, and then we visited the film studio and Taourirte Kasbah in Ouarzazate. i would say that the journey is a bit long but it's worth it, but if you have more time than what I had you can take an overnight trip to ouarzazate this agency organise that. so grateful Moha thank you again
