We had scheduled day tours of Muscat and Salalah and was in Dubai awaiting our cruise on March 12th. We had private tours with Oman Tours reserved. They were wonderful in cancellations! We had to ASAP return to USA first plane available due to our government request or be quarantined at end of cruise in Europe. We will return next year to finish our tours of Oman and will request Sarah to help us again with our plans. She is excellent. Thanks again and see you next year!

It was my first time in Muscat and I wanted to remember this city. To do this, I reviewed many companies that are engaged in excursions and decided to stop at Gidoman . So, I didn't regret my choice and it was the coolest ride of my life. Our guide Ilya, talked to us very interesting information about the city sights. Most of all, I liked the Corniche Road and the old market. We took amazing photos against the background of snow-white beautiful buildings like in the tale of Aladdin. I want to say a huge thank you to the company Gidoman for what you do, I will recommend you to all my friends!

Do you remember any of Arabic fairy tales? If yes, then of course you've heard about magnificent Arabic forts ! So it's a high time for exploring Omani historical heritage. The Nizwa Fort is a 17th century castle inside the city of Nizwa, one of the country oldest cities and known as the Pearl of Islam. As well as its historical significance it does also act as a natural gateway to some of the highest and most majestic mountains, is a great vantage point for viewing of Hajar Mountains and surrounding town. Jabreen Castle ("the most beautiful historic castle in the whole of Oman "according to guidebooks) was built in the late 17th century. It used to serve at the same time as a military fort, as a school and as the place of residence of the sovereign of Oman, at the time where Jabreen was the capital city of Oman. The decorated windows and wooden balconies are an authentic expression of Omani craftsmanship. Excited? let's start our journey !

Oman has a lot to offer but it is way better with a story. Go with these guys and you’ll experience the real Arabia. These guys took me off before they officially started a tourist company. First in a boat trip. Awesome, fully serviced as well. The museums. And yes the are even better with a local to tell you the ins and outs. Can’t wait to come back and go in a desert trip with my Omani friends. Thanx guys. I’ll be back soon

The Jebel Akhdar (The Green Mountain'), is part of Al Hajar Mountains range in Ad Dakhiliyah Governorate of Oman. It extends about 300 km (190 mi) northwest to southeast, between 50–100 mi (80–161 km) inland from the coast of the Gulf of Oman. This mostly limestone mountain is one of the highest points in Oman and eastern Arabia. Jebel Akhdar forms the central section of Hajar range, and is located around 150 km (93 mi) from Muscat. The range is mostly desert, but at higher altitudes receives around 300 mm (12 in) of precipitation annually moist enough to allow the growth of shrubs and trees and support agriculture. It is this that gives the mountains their "green" name. An old stronghold on the inland side of the mountain is Birkat al-Mawz, or Pool of the Plantains, with a layout similar to the nearby Jabrin palace. Now The Road to Jebel Akhdar is only accessible to well maintained 4WD , for touristic tour book now to meet our guides, our team ready to pickupyou in any places.

a wonderful opportunity to see a souk of goats and cows..The market is quite frenetic as the sellers can’t always control their cows, and some try to break away, like bulls running through the streets of Pamplona, dragging their owners behind them. A couple of times I regret wearing my red and blue plaid shirt, remembering that bulls in bullfights like to charge at the color red. I jump back away from the sidelines several times as I see cows running helter-skelter in my direction!

We visited wadi bani Khalid with Ned who was an amazing and knowledgeable guide. The wadi is beautiful and would recommend bringing trainers/non slip shoes to walk up to the higher pools also. Thank you for a fun and informative day Ned :-)

We spent 7 nights end of Feb with our toddler twins and we cannot praise enough the service and facilities. It is a wonderful hotel on the one of the nicest Oman beaches. Food (Al Tanoor) is not as good as the service and facilities but good enough. Our kids had a blast as well as we did. Highly recommend it! Will definitely be back.
