A youthful, modern metropolis with a diverse population, Tel Aviv dates back only to 1909. Clubs, bars, a thriving arts community, gay life and beaches attract artists, musicians and young professionals to Tel Aviv's more secular scene. Its UNESCO-designated Bauhaus architecture has won the city the moniker "The White City." Walk, drive or catch cabs between the cultural exhibition pavilions of Haaretz Museum, historic Independence Hall Museum, bustling Carmel Market and Old Jaffa's boardwalk.

This Russian Orthodox Church is supposedly situated on the site of Tomb of St.Tabitha. Much of the iconography in and around the church is therefore dedicated to her and of course St.Peter how supposedly raised her from the dead through prayer. This church has gone to great lengths to make clear that it's not a tourist destination, so best to visit modestly dressed and treat the visit with respect. There's some amazing artwork inside the church and of course you can pray to St Tabitha either at her statue or tomb.

MAYA gallery is an art-base social enterprise in Israel, an innovative vision realised by the co-founder artists, Michael Kovner and Avner Levinson to grant a proper and independent platform for artists in their early stages. MAYA gallery is pursuing this vision while emphasising on creating a meaningful social value by presenting artists from the geographical and social periphery of Israel.
