I visited the distillery with a friend who had been given a gift voucher for two people. We did the discovery tour and it was absolutely brilliant! A totally enjoyable experience. Both Alan and Dan were very knowledgeable and their presentation and interaction with us was friendly and relaxed. It was so much fun! We received a G&T on arrival. After the tour, which doesn’t take long but is very informative, we then went on to taste several of the gins distilled there. It really was a fantastic afternoon and we will be back to do the Gin School Experience!

Went with our daughter who lives in Aberdeen on her recommendation. Booked a table for 8pm on Saturday night and was delighted we did not feel in the least bit ‘encouraged’ to drink up and leave so they could re-book the table. The decor was very opulent - probably Christmas decor as it was very sparkly. Lovely dark and rich colours with accents of rose gold. We sat in a generous and comfortable booth which felt very private and we were able to hold a conversation without had to shout to be heard. Nice touch to have phone charging tables and the lighting was bright but not glaring rather than the gloom so often used in bars. Fantastic drinks selection and knowledgeable staff. We enjoyed a variety of gins with pared tonic and had a mixed cheese and charcuterie platter. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and enjoyed the atmosphere and the service. Definitely recommended for couples or a group of friends. My husband went to pay the bill and when he returned and I asked him how much it was - the platters were not priced and I was curious to see how much they cost. Realised that we had only been charged for the gins. We could have walked away as he didn’t notice just payed what it said on the bill but like 99% of people we were honest and he went back to point out that we had not been charged for the platter. Disappointingly his honesty was not acknowledged. A lovely bar, nicely styled, great drinks selection, friendly knowledgeable staff. A most enjoyable Saturday night out in Aberdeen.
