Best known as the capital of Charlemagne's Frankish empire, today's Aachen sits at the juncture where Germany meets the Netherlands (the Dutch know it as Aken) and Belgium (where "Walloons" call it Aix-la-Chapelle). Perfect smaller zoo in Aachen, small prices and very clean! Perfect day out with childeren, a lot of play gardens scattered all over the zoo. Very friendly staff.

I started my ride in St. Vith direction Luxembourg. A very well maintained biking track that leads you through nice landscapes and sceneries throughout the ride. I absolutely recommend the Vennbahn for those cyclists that want to combine a very easy and relaxing ride (flat roads all the time) with the pleasure of enjoying nature and picturesque villages along the way.
