Lingering over pain au chocolat in a sidewalk café, relaxing after a day of strolling along the Seine and marveling at icons like the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe… the perfect Paris experience combines leisure and liveliness with enough time to savor both an exquisite meal and exhibits at the Louvre. Awaken your spirit at Notre Dame, bargain hunt at the Marché aux Puces de Montreuil or for goodies at the Marché Biologique Raspail, then cap it all off with a risqué show at the Moulin Rouge.

The Walrus acts as a bar, a vinyl and CD record store as well as a gig venue. It opened its doors on Record Store Day, April 19th, 2014, and obtained its IV license (alcohol license) on June 21st (Fête de la Musique) of the same year. Well-implanted in the neighborhood, it now boasts regular and loyal customers, it has become a meeting place as much as a shop, bringing together music-lovers, vinyl collectors or just people meeting there for a laid-back coffee or a gig, or just a browse. In November 2015, Walrus was elected “Best shop in Paris” by the Time Out internet voters. For sale at Walrus: new records (LPs and CDs) in Pop, Indie-Rock, post rock, Psyché Rock, Krautrock. Country/Folk/Blues. Experimental, electronic and avant-garde music. Accessories and products pertaining to the musical world. At the Walrus you can drink good coffee, Club Mate, Fritz Kola, apfelshaftschorle, super good limo' crafts, Ginger beer... On tap, Bayreuther Hell and Citra Galactic IPA.
