I've been coming to Jackie's for 6 plus years - it always had a great buzz, was well staffed, and the team members long term.
Since the unfortunate death of the founder Jackie, the business has been sold, all the regular team gone, and it's now staffed by some fairly disinterested and unorganised people.
Coffee orders are regularly taken incorrectly, as well as meals - I watch in amazement as to how many times these guys get it wrong.
And unlike the old team, don't expect to be approached for an extra coffee etc - I'm surprised they're still in business.
I'm not the only one who thinks this - I sit amongst other patrons and hear the same consistent message - and check out the drop off in numbers.
A sad demise to an incredible Paddington institution.

This is not are cheap family restaurant. It is however seriously good food, served by competent and helpful staff, in a very attractive environment. The servings were generous in size and obviously the chefs know their craft and have great attention to detail.
The pork belly was amazingly tender and full flavoured. The vegetables fresh and beautifully prepared. The creme brûlée was simply divine. Gladly go back again.

This Pub is of historical importance to Prospect and surrounding area. Just off the M4 and Great Western Highway. Not a very big venue. The outside is very rustic.
Parking is at a premium. We had sandwiches for the wake which were very nice and hot chips. There was a little bit of a wait for drinks at the bar.
All in all it was a good send off for the loved one.

Asian restaurant serving authentic Laos and Thai cuisine located in buzzling suburb of Canley Heights.
Good service. For me, the food is so so but I am very picking when it comes to Thai food. I enjoyed the vibes that the restaurant gives. I enjoyed the duck curry that I ordered.

Penrith, or Sydney Seafoods as they are now called, have been a local institution in Wetherill Park for many years now.
Not only do they sell reasonably priced fresh seafood their fish and chips are worth travelling for.
We often have their crumbed fish and a small chips on a Friday night and are always satisfied.

Been here so many times. Food is made very quick, super fresh, the kitchen is open so you can watch your food being cooked. Tables are cafe style, no tablecloths or anything. No airconditioning so windows are left open in Summer. You order and pay at the counter rather than staff coming to your table to take orders. So not a place for a classy, romantic outing but definitely a great place to grab a bite. The food is excellent and not expensive.

I organized a dinner with the girls and usually we check out the local restaurants. Staff were friendly to accommodate, especially for my fussy friend with wine. The food tasted good but was a bit slow. My friends and I thought: garlic pizzas were good for entrée; risotto was good, fish was a bit tough and the chicken was excellent. The salads and hot chips were delicious. I had the gnocchi gamberi and I found the gnocchi and sauce was superb but the prawns were difficult to find when chopped up and not much there. I would prefer whole prawns and a bigger portion as to me that was entrée size. After all this is an Italian restaurant. I would have liked the Yum Ciao but that is only available for dinner - so maybe consider doing it for dinner as well. Pricing was appropriate. Ticks a lot of boxes but still room for improvement and wouldn't mind going back.

Been going here for many years which pretty much means that it's a good place to eat. Portions are generous, presentation and quality good, service generally prompt. As well as excellent dinners Savanas also has a lunchtime menu which is surprisingly very affordable and generous in portion size, forget fast food places for lunch because for a few dollars extra you get to sit down and enjoy a real meal that is both tasty and healthy. As for atmosphere it can be noisy as in the evenings due to its popularity, i would suggest an outside table if you want to talk.

I need high protein intake and not much of anything else. The staff here have never baulked at any of my menu alterations and the food has never disappointed. With every visit I've been served with a welcoming smile and 'That's no problem, of course we can do that for you' has been the response to my requests every single visit, without fail.
One of the best things about returning to Australia has been coming back here for great service and great food.

3 of us came here for dinner. It wasn't packed but it was so loud we couldn't hear each other and had to yell. It was like being in a pub...not a place to go if you want to relax and chat.
The mains all came out seperately which was odd. The salmon Caesar salad was fresh as was the calamari and chips...simple meals which aren't hard to get right.
The pizza was soggy and had way too much topping and sauce which made it worse. My partner seemed to enjoy it and asked for a doggie bag....when we were leaving we had to chase this up and the pizza slices were just wrapped in foil on to of each other. Prices a little high for average food and average experience.
