I'm not normally a coffee fan but I did enjoy this one. It's roasted right there and the employees were super nice and helpful. If you like coffee I don't think you'll be disappointed here!

Doughnuts
Eating them right now! Went to Westport for a family day and stopped into the HOD for some sugar. My wife picked up these delicious fritters of apple and raspberry. 8 hours later they are still fresh and soft. Mmmmmm.

We have enjoyed both breakfast and lunch at the Blue Buoy. My husband loves the chicken fried steak breakfast. He also raves about the chili (homemade) burger. Although we haven't tried any desserts, they do offer homemade pies and other desserts. We enjoy visiting Westport and the Blue Buoy is our favorite place for breakfast and lunch. The resturant was not open for dinner when we visited in October. I am not sure of they stay open later in the summer months.

A little bit of everything, but absolutely no junk. Nice memories to bring home after your travels, with something available for everyone. Plus the service is incredible. One can really tell, that the owner truly loves what she is doing.

I'm surprised that so many businesses in and around the Westport area don't seem to understand that, especially in the summer months, a lot of visitors are there while other family members are out fishing. This means they are up and about early. I was surprised to find almost no espresso shops or restaurants open early. Even some of the gift shops don't open until 10 am. The mocha I had a Captn Jack's was okay, nothing special.

We ordered pizza from this walk to brewery. Pleasant suprise. Great tasting pizza, fantastic selection, loved the home brewed root beer, all mixed together with good service and value pricing. Who could ask for anything more, especially from a first timer.

Lunch was tasty but cost us $61 for two people. Crab cakes were moist but halibut was pretty thin. It had as much fried crust as fish, next time we will just go for the cod.
They had one cook and one server, the server was seldom around. Went up to counter twice to get a to-go box. Finally I had enough and did a loud whistle. Everyone eating stared in shock. When the girl came out from the back I asked for a couple of boxes. We wanted a 2nd beer but had no server available, and the cook ignored us.

My regular espresso haunt when I am in Westport. I am picky and like my latte a certain way. They do a great job for me.

Great food here. Wonderful lady, cook, waitress, and owner. Fast and friendly. She cooks for people at Christmas, provides a Free dinner for everyone!! How many places do that? This lady runs it by herself in the winter and is soooo good at what she does, support her.

Simple dining area, nothing fancy. Husband had the fish and chips, which he said was excellent, and I had salmon caesar salad, which was also very good. The star of the evening was the flourless chocolate cake - sitting in the refrigerator case, it doesn't look like anything more than a somewhat tired, albeit very large, brownie, but when it arrives, crowned by whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate sauce, it is a marvel. Moist, rich, delicious, and more than enough for two. A serious bargain, I think it was $5. The white bbq sauce is delicious - had never had it before, garlicky mayo-based and yummy.
