Nice restaurant on the main road close to Nagykanizsa offering mainly local specialities like dödölle and fisherman"s soup. We tried both and were very satisfied. The service is polite and helpful. They accept bank cards too. We can recommend the spot.

New Year's Eve day we had lunch here.The restaurant is in the center of Zalakaros, a few meters from the spa entrance.Roughly 8-10 table space is recommended to reserve at noon.The service waited fast, although draft beer 10 minutes.The menu is more than ample. Those who want higher dosages, came to the right place.Not gourmet restaurant, but that's not the goal. Just good food, good prices in the domestic context. This is excellent.(It should be noted that the small and big things should not be carried out here. The toilet overlooking the street, tiny and unheated. It is not pleasant in winter.)Szilveszter napján ebédeltünk itt. Az étterem Zalakaros központjában, pár méterre a fürdÅ bejárattól.Durván 8-10 asztal, délben javasolt helyet foglalni.A kiszolgálás gyors, bár a csapolt sörre 10 percet vártunk.Az étlap több mint bÅséges. Aki nagy adagokra vágyik, jó helyre jött.Nem gourmet étterem, de nem is ez a cél. Egyszerűen jókat enni, hazai viszonylatban jó áron. Erre kiváló.(Meg kell jegyeznem, hogy a kis és nagydolgokat ne itt végezzék el. A WC az utcáról nyÃlik, picike és fűtetlen. Ez télen nem kellemes. )

Arrived as a family after a long 3.5 hour drive and was all very Hungary. Me and my wife ordered a sharing platter which had everything , breaded chicken/fish/mushrooms/cauliflower, pork, bacon, potatoes, rice, mixed veg and salad which was huge. Certainly hit the spot, service was very good, live music was a nice touch. Good quality local beer, fast food, great job all.

Supr cisnik , vtipny, rychly a ochotny. Dobre piti a vyborne kvalitni jidlo a velke porce. Great waiter, witty, fast and willing. Have a good drink and great quality food and great serving.

+ Kind service, speaking English+ Really tasty and fresh food, the biggest portions in Zalakaros+ Quality to price ratio - excellent. Cheap meals and as I said really big ones.+ Card payment possibilityOverall - excellent.I recommend breaded cauliflowers, both Jokai, and normal goulash soups, Cordon Bleu chicken and fried cheese.

Big terrace, moody interior.Wide and nice selection of starters, pastas, meats, desserts.Only few type of wines, more offer would be better.Polite service.The only disadvantege is the outside common toilet which is unworthy in a restaurant like this, this needs some change!
