Reviews on Cafe food in Colombo, Western Province, Sri Lanka. Colombo is the gateway to Sri Lanka for most travelers—but don’t be tempted to simply pass through this diverse and interesting city. Take a train ride along the coast to Mount Lavinia, a popular beach, or explore the Talangama Wetland, which several TripAdvisor travelers say is the perfect place to take a break from the bustling streets of the city.

After a very long time we visited Mitsi's Delicacies. Unfortunately they do not serve breakfast anymore, especially their specialised sausages. However I ordered a seafood sandwich. It was serve with a small salad and french fries. Absolutely delicious. It is a shame we live so far away because we wouldgo there very often for a lunch.. .Thank you for stopping by and I am happy that you enjoyed your visit!

I've visited 3 or more times. Their pasta is magic. Loved their Thiramusu and also pizza (cant remember the kind). I Rreally enjoy going to Dolce Italia coz their recipes are authentic and has great flavour. Their atmosphere or ambiance can be upgraded in to a much nicer arrangement. However still a no.1 fan of thir food.

Accessible directly from the hotel lobby, the Sapphyr Lounge is bathed in natural Sri Lankan sunlight through floor to ceiling windows. From savoury pastries, featuring exotic fillings, served as they come hot from the oven, to crispy fresh puffs and sand
We had a really excellent time in SAPPHYR Lounge. The manager Mr. Rumesh was very welcoming and comprehensive person. We asked if it could be possible to have a late lunch early dinner from the Capital Grill restaurant and he invited their Chef to take an order. The service by Angelo, Hasun and Lakruwan was excellent. Later we were having some tea with a lovely setting. Thank you to Shangrila wonderful staff!
