Reviews on Fusion food in Bergen, Western Norway, Norway. The colorful Norwegian city of Bergen is also a gateway to majestic fjords. Bryggen Hanseatic Wharf will give you a sense of the local culture – take some time to snap photos of the Hanseatic commercial buildings, which look like scenery from a movie set. Don’t breathe too deeply when you visit the outdoor fish market, a reminder of the city’s role in early fish trade. Ferry across a fjord to Lysøen, where the former villa of 19th-century composer Ole Bull will captivate you with fairytale charm.

The food here was excellent. We ordered a king crab dinner and a seafood dinner. Both were more than plentiful and cooked to perfection. The wait staff was super friendly and courteous as were the chefs we spoke to. Beautiful location at the harbor on the waterfront.

We stumbled across this place one evening I wanted dumplings. I did a quick search and voila. Mandalay showed up. I ordered the food, and it did not take long until I had dumplings infront of me. Service here is very friendly, prices are OK and the place itself has charm. Its not fancy, but the location is perfect considering there is a ton of other nice bars you can stop by after a good meal. A quick and easy meal. I also ordered the hot pot. It was hot, and fantastic.

Soybean is an icon of Asian cuisine. During thousands of years, the Chinese people put their peerless wisdom with food to use and created diverse soybean products, such as soy sauce and many kinds of fermented or unfermented tofu. SOYA Restaurant is the r
I was very disappointed with the service in this restaurant. The food we ordered was very delicious, but the waitress seem to be too busy. Mostly we had to help our self, and according to the food and drink prices in the menu, we could expect more friendly and helpful service. It is glad to hear the conforming to our food. We will be continuing to improve our service and food. Soya will welcome you always and sure that you will feel our improvement and passion to our guests every-time.

Nama is the oldest sushi restaurant in Bergen. Since the opening in 2001 we have continued to deliver top quality sushi since day one. Part of our success is a steady focus on high quality ingredients and accessories as well as creating a nice atmosphere
Our hotel (the Admiral) recommended Nama to us, so we walked around the inlet to the restaurant up the hill a bit from tourist land in Bryggen. Our first dinner was with the family (2 adults, 4 kids - ages 8 to 15), and our second was âadults onlyâ â and we were extremely pleased with both meals. The maitrâdâesse (Anna) was friendly, patient, and guided us around the menu (in particular helping us choose for our younger offspring on the first night) â so much so that we could not help but go back again for âdate nightâ. The service was impeccable, friendly, responsive and caring, and the sushi and related Japanese fare was tremendous. Like everything high end in Norway, it definitely lightened the wallet, but it was well worth it â twice!!
