The Rica Seilet Hotel restaurant is located on the second floor of the Hotel and has breath taking views of the surrounding Romsdal Mountains and fjord. The restaurant offers an a la carte menu and is open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The view is fantastic. The hotel should do something more out of the bar. Make it a skybar with fab drinks and some music.

Milano offers variety of options to eat and most of them are Halal as well. The service is wonderful. We used to eat from there alot whenever we were in Molde. The restaurant is in the heart of the small city and there are plenty of food options to choose from. Their Pizza is good and so are the chicken cheese macronni and kebab. Its a must have if you re in Molde.

Moldeâs meeting place for lunch, dinner, coffee or drinks and cocktails. Tasty homemade food, delicious coffee and a nice calm atmosphere. Every Friday and Saturday, our fabulous pianist starts playing live at 22.00, and every Saturday our DJ steps up the
I used this place both for eating and going out in the evening. The food was better before (portion size is going down, quality varies). It is an Ok place to be and they have an artist on some nights which is nice. Not more than average, but potential.

Amazing burgers, great tacos and much more! In all varieties (vegetarian, chicken, std burger etc). Very reasonable prices. Superb quality food - no McDonalds-fast-food thingy at this place. This is the real deal. Like their home made ketchup for example. Highly recommend this place!

We drove through Molde looking for a place to eat lunch and found very few places there that had good reviews on tripadvisor. After walking around a little we saw this wine bar / restaurant which was not mentioned yet on tripadvisor. We asked the owner if the food served was properly made from scratch with no mass produced ingredients and he said it was most definately not.We ordered two fish soups each and it tasted just great. The seafood was very fresh. The wine was served at proper temperature. The service was friendly and fast too.All in all nothing to complain about and this type of food is what i always hope to find when visiting new places.

On a very rainy day we arrived at Molde and we hoped to save our day with a good dinner.Looking around in town where, on a friday night not much was happening, we followed our nouse and came by Amalie. We were welcomed by a very friendly lady in a beautiful restaurant. We had as starter "Amelie's" kremet fiskesuppe! Two words: "THE best", with homemade warm bread. After several vacations in scandinavia i can really tell this was the best fish soup ever! Not enough bread, now problem just ask and you will receive antogher delicious piece. The main course was another masterpiece: Chili & ingefaer gratinert klippfisk: unbelievable tastfull. You have to be very hungry to eat all of this and still have room for dessert, we didn't. I'm sure the desserts are from the same high standard. My compliments for the chef. The whole evening we had a very nice talk with the Lady of the house. She also gave us a ton of information for our next days so we had a lot of inside information, thank you so much. Also thanks for the pictures you took for and from us.I hope that we can come back to Molde one day, now we know there an excellent restaurant with an exceptional lovely, caring Lady.Thank you it was the best evening on our trip, one to remember!

After a very quick reservation by phone we arrived to enjoy great attention from our server for the entire meal. This was a great evening as a whole, from booking the reservation to arrival, service through the meal, the setting with great views on a clear evening over the ocean and mountains, and the food itself. Prices are in line with most restaurants in Norway and as a party of three we had the smoked whale, the fried cod tongues, the seafood soup, the gratinated cod, and the halibut, as well as the milk chocolate parfait and house-made ice cream and sorbet. We found the flavours nuanced and delicious. There were no issues with heaviness of the food or with small portions that we've found elsewhere in Europe. The restaurant tells you where it sources many of its ingredients and many are from the area. We ordered two desserts with the intention of sharing them and the server had the thought to simply ask the chefs to split the desserts on three plates. Thus each of us had our own dessert selection and a very different presentation than if ordered singly! I've never seen this done. Compared to eating at the Scandic Seilet restaurant this was well worth it and if in the area I'd make the effort to come back and have dinner here again. I'd say it's worth coming back to Molde for the food here.

We had a nice lunch while visiting Molde. Restaurant was not very busy for midday on a Saturday, but looks like reservations for every table that night. Pizza was great - a little larger than personal sized, but might not be enough to share for 2 unless also having something else. Friends had salmon which they said was great. View of the water, though not exactly real picturesque. Staff was very nice and service prompt.
