I used to enjoy eating at this Nobu. Then they recently introduced a mandatory R500 deposit for every person, not kust per booking. I was assured I would be paid back the difference, no problem. It took 3 weeks, countless emails, and phone calls that went nowhere to finally get the difference back. Three weeks I had to ask for what is mine. No valid apology in the end for that unexpected drama. Add to that endless interruptions from over eager staff to our conversations. No love left.Dear bibirides,Thank you for your reservation and continuous support of Nobu. We are deeply disappointed to read about your experience. Our standard practice for any rebate is between 5 to 7 working days depending on the bank system, we sincerely apologise for this not being the case with you as well as for the inconvenience caused. We truly appreciate your feedback as we can always improve our services to ensure it is delivered in the most professional and accurate technique, as we pride ourselves in taking every positive and negative observation as constructive resolution, ensuring no other guest will experience similar shortfall. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back soon.Kind regards,Roberto GarroneResort Manager

Such an amazing place next to the Waterfront in Cape Town with a nice view on table mountain. Ashley and his crew are super kind and funny and they gifted us several laughters. Furthermore the coffee ist super delicious. We will definitely come back soon! Thank you for the cheerful review of our Native coffee shop and charming Baristas. They were thrilled when we shared your magnificent review with them. See you soon for another fun filled coffee fix. Regards Heinz

Located at Waterfront we were offered a round table directly over the harbor: a great starting! It was raining that evening, and we realized that all rooms were a kind of terrace with cristal windows but no walls between the windows and the roof... it was chilly! An excellent bouillabaisse as starter and thereafter a generous seafood platter with West Coast Baby lobsters, large prawns and langoustins. All fresh and tasty. Good reasons to return!

Our South African friend recommended this as a must visit place to eat. We were a bit sceptical when we arrives as it's a no frills restaurant in the middle the shopping mall, as opposed to the water front. I'm so glad our first impressions were wrong. The wait staff were friendly and the food came out quickly. I had the prawns and couldn't believe how big the plate was and for such a reasonable price. It was a delicious meal. My friends had sushi and tempura mixed plate and they also loved it.

We always try to get to Pigalle when in Cape Town and this year's visit was wonderful. The seafood is the calling card and it did not disappoint. I had the Pigalle platter which is prawns and langoustines, both of which were really tasty. Two of my colleagues shared the seafood platter for 2 and enjoyed every bit of it. The third colleague had the calamari which was also quite good. They all had the malva pudding for dessert and said it was the best they had ever had. One of my colleagues was celebrating her birthday so they wrote "Happy birthday!!" on her dessert plate and had a candle for her to blow out. It was all perfect. We also really enjoyed the live music. One note of advice, I would not recommend walking from your hotel despite it being a short distance as it is off an alleyway in a business district where most of the buildings are closed after dark.

SeaBreeze brings a fresh take on a traditional seafood restaurant, celebrating Cape Town's rich seafood heritage. Find us at 213 Bree Street
We arrived late into Cap[e Town and we were staying in the downtown area. We asked the concierge for a suggestion for seafood and were told the SeaBreeze is the place. A short walk got us there. It was very busy on a Friday night but we were able to sit at a communal table outside and really enjoyed ourselves. BTW this is a great way to talk to both locals and visitors. I had the grilled Red Roman, which I had never had before, but you know the saying, "When in Roman....!" My wife had the Yellowfin tuna. Both dishes were great and were a great introduction to Cape Town. We also shared a bottle of wine and a bottle of still water, and had one cappuccino, and including the tip, the bill came to about $63US. Can't be beat.

It was Heritage Day....and we walked here from Company Gardens. Even arrived before it's 6:30 PM opening and Jane was MOST cordial.Liked the atmosphere...sort of funky......our waiter was Simon and he was terrific! The complimentary starter was delicious. the Jordan House Wine "hit the spot". My bengal Fish Curry did NOT measure up to the curry at Seabreeze, but that's OK and hubby had the RUMP in blue cheese and garlic sauce. Superb. However, Jane, the portion of wok veggies that came w/the rump could certainly be MORE ample. Portion of wok veggies MUCH too small.Had a great conversation with the couple at the table next to us.Dinner with tip................R 668. By the time we left most tables were occupied!
