Reviews on Pub food in Knysna, Western Cape, South Africa. Knysna stands out on South Africa's famed Garden Route thanks to the sandstone cliffs that dramatically separate its tranquil lagoon from the pounding surf of the Indian Ocean. It's also home to the country's largest indigenous forest. Hop aboard a ferry for a ride through the scenic highlights. The Millwood Mines at Jubilee Creek, site of a major gold rush in 1885, provide a picturesque spot for a picnic. Be sure to try some local oysters during the renowned annual festival.

We were there on a Saturday afternoon doing a pub crawl...all locals.4 of us ordered the snack plate which consisted of 2 defrosted samosas and a few chips. Half an hour later it arrived, The samosas was soggy. Some sent their plates back saying they would not pay for such a small serving. No other clients were there. This place could be such a hub if they jacked up their kitchen and service. We had samosas at another pub that afternoon and they were fantastic.

The tea garden at Tiffany's is set out in a lush and beautiful green garden with sprinkles of colour all around. The yellow umbrellas over the wooden benches ads an air of summer fun and patrons can always sit in the shade while enjoying a selection of gr
I reviewed this B&B just after it opened about 2 years ago,we just spent another weekend there, and its just as beautiful as the first time we went, the rooms are still clean and looked after. The Hosts still lovely and helpful, and the menu has had a few extra things added to it. It is well worth a visit when you in the area.

Stumbled on this place for an early evening drink and meal after a hard day's driving. Didn't know what to expect but was approached by Yvon, who I believe is the head waiter. He was really helpful and explained the different restaurants and bars on the two levels. He advised us to go upstairs to a decking area with fantastic views over the Knysna lagoon. We stayed here havingdrinks and our meal whilst watching the sun go down over the lagoon. I had the line caught fish of the day, which I believe was yellow fish. My daughter is very much into her wines and Zami, our waiter, was very knowledgeable about these. We took his advice and were not disappointed. Zami was very friendly and helpful throughout. Although this establishment is very modern, and in a very modern part of the harbour, I can highly recommend it.

An old style English pub serving locally brewed ale and value-for-money pub grub. Come along for Bosun's traditional Sunday roast, compete in their monthly quiz night or enjoy a Mitchell's drought beer while watching sports. Bosun's is the friendliest pub
Good value English pub! Sunday roast lunch is the best - book or come early as it's very popular! Enjoy with a LARGE glass of wine from R25! Max is a character & an asset to this friendly establishment!!!Thank you so much for the lovely review. We do strive to produce home-cooked, good for value meals and aim for consistency at all times. In fact some of the ladies in the kitchen have been there so long that their children are now part of the team! Agreed - Max is a total asset to our business and I often find myself laughing at his odd remarks and dry sense of humor. We do not believe in short measures especially when it comes to a glass of wine and it goes so well with a roast dinner. Trust we will be seeing you again.Best regardsSu

It is a quaint little pub situated on the grounds of Belvidere Manor. Well known for serving the best Pot Pies and Fish and Chips
Had dinner here twice whilst staying at the Manor. Busy with a nice ambience. Food was home made to order, delicious and portions generous. Service was very good even though all tables were full. Nice outside area which would be great for lunch and before sundown. Recommended,

Please note that East Head Cafe will be closed between the 06 May and the 04 June 2019. We will reopen on Wednesday 05 June 2019
Situated close to The Heads, the scenery is stunning. There are light blankets on all the outdoor seats to allow comfort of the weather is chilly. Attentive, friendly staff move quickly. Coffee is a local roasted blend and carrot cake fresh and nicely spiced. Cheese platter is good for a light meal; the smoked cheese is superb. The attention to detail is noticable! Well worth a visit.
