A great fish restaurant. Great Food . Well presented . Great Prices
I love the Ocean Basket franchise but everything deteriorating at this specific branch. The food is terrible, i ordered a seafood platter and my dinner mate ordered a meze platter. The sea food platter, just passed with a 5/10 but the meze platter lived up to its name, it was a MESS. The fritters were burnt but the smart chef put the burnt side down , the salmon cakes were hard as rock, the hollumi rubbery, i actually heard squeaking in my mouth, and this wonderful ensemble came with a nice price tag believe me. Staff too much and way to familiar.
Bridge House Coffee Shop, Antique Store & Nursery is a vibrant, friendly and cozy little shop in Hope Street. Visit us for absolutely amazing cakes (especially our carrot cake!), great coffee, light meals, breakfasts and lunch. On the same premise is an a
My family and I had breakfast here recently. The service was not up to scratch! We waited too long for our food, and the tomato sauce we asked for arrived only when we had almost finished our breakfast. It was reasonably early, and we were the only customers there. The bacon was probably about 1 cm wide, two slithers of bacon. HOUSE BREAKFASTR 702 eggs (scrambled / fried), cheese griller, streaky bacon, grilled tomatoes & slice of toast. This was NOT value for money. I will think twice before returning, there are just too many great alternatives in George! Take heed ownersDear Pieter, Thank you for visiting us and providing valued feedback. Kindly email us your telephone number and email address to [email protected]. We look forward to hearing from you.Kind Regards,Bridge House Coffee Shop Management

A new restaurant with a theme - " It's all about the Food". An apt theme as , while the food was excellent, the location - behind a Garage- and the decor - Wimpy look-alike-leave much to be desired. Staff were jovial and efficient. Meals , from a limited menu, were tasty, well-prepared, nicely presented and good value. Well worth repeat visits but the decor needs serious attention.Thank you for taking the time to write a reviewWe glad to see that you enjoyed your meal and found it to be value for moneywith regards to the decor we made a decision to focus our attention on the food and service and as time goes on we will address the decorfor us it is ABOUT THE FOOD once again thank you for your supportKind RegardsSimon & Wendy

I first learned about Dis Tyd when I had the most incredible snacks at a function. The snacks were unusual and tasty and beautifully presented. Then we visited the Coffee Shop - boy were we surprised. It's run by a young lady called Mia. Everything delectable item is freshly made on site by her and her small staff. It's hard to fathom how they could so successfully cater for five star functions as well but they do! Dis Tyd is slightly off the beaten track, which is very nice. Closely situated to Fancourt as well. There is a lovely shaded outside area as well. There are even some biscuits, small gifts and cards you could buy to take with you.Mia and her staff at Dis Tyd surely knows how to pack a punch! Don't miss out. Definitely going back to this lovely place. They have a very interesting menu and unusual cakes so be sure to go hungry!

Open for lunch Mondays to Fridays from 12:00 to 14:30 and Open for Dinner Mondays to Saturdays from 18:00 till late.
We only get to George 2 or 3 times a year but make a point in dining at Old Townhouse Restaurant. The food is always excellently prepared by Janet and there is a substantial menu with specials. The steaks are always excellent. Good wine list too. Nicely situated just off the top of York Street with parking just 50 metres away, generally with a car guard. Medium sized restaurant but seems cosier. Always worth a visit.
