This is truly a hidden Gem in Hout bay. i took my fiance for supper at this fine restaurant last night and her remarks were : we must go there again. Superb Service, great Ambiance not crowded at all. I left there very happy. The meat was great. The soft music and the dimming of the lights also added to the good feel. Quentin, thank you for your hospitality and the excellent food.

This restaurant is beautifully situated in a lovely garden filled with sculptures. The interior is slick as is the warm service . It could however be warmer and being seated near the big open doors makes for a breezy lunch .The menu is amazing . I literally didnât know what to choose and will be back just to try the many other dishes that caught my eye. All the dishes have an African twist as well. We shared the calamari on mieliepap and then had the chicken peri peri tacos and artichoke risotto . We enjoyed both dishes as well as the artful good presentation. However the tacos were chewy and dry . No space for dessert - definitely next time !And donât forget to pop past the shop and visit the art installations.Thank you for the review Amber. I would highly recommend our lamb 'bobotie' on your next visit, as the chef has put an interesting twist on this dish and is always a winner among our guests! Maybe the beat breakfast ever. Avo on toast with eggs and bacon, French toast with grilled banana and syrup, eggs Benedict, healthy juices and great coffee. The mum and daughter who own the place are very focussed on you having a good experience and they have a lovely front of House Team. Food was delicious, environment perfect and we will be back!

Stopped in for a breakfast and had to ask for service. When we had their attention we were looked after fairly well. Still got the order wrong. The food was nothing to write home about.As it is a local venue for us we will probably try it again sometime but not to soon.

Just had the most fantastic breakfast at this new eatery on the grounds of Constantia uitsig. Wonderful cozy atmosphere in this converted farm cottage. Just the thing for a cold winters day in the cape.Excellent service, very quick food delivery and most importantly very tasty food.I had the frittata which was the best I have had to date. The family had eggs Benedict.My only complaint was the hot chocolate was weak and watery.Will definitely be back.
