Last week was the first time we visited this hidden gem. We were in the area many times before but we never popped in. What a pity! It is a relatively small restaurant with some tables outside. Unfortunately the outside tables are more for bigger groups (6-8 people). The menu is quite limited but we were surprised when the starter - prawns in sesame crumbs - arrived. The plate was beautiful decorated with some papaya, salad with wild flowers and avocado. I loved the taste. As a main I ordered the 200g Waguy beef burger (sesame charcoal brioche, Boland cheese, crispy bacon, roasted tomato). Best burger I had in a while. The triple cooked fries were a bit tasteless. Wine is from the own wine estate and we tried the bubbly and the Sauvignion and we liked both of them.Service could improve.

This is my favourite coffee shop in the Durbanville area. Great setting, amazing views, not too many tables squeezed in, and kids friendly when the weather is good.Only problem is that they are very busy over weekends - so make sure to phone ahead for a table. Breakfast menu is good, and their pastas is a must for lunch.
