Find out what Seafood restaurants to try in Plettenberg Bay. The caves of Plettenberg Bay are wrinkles in time, lined with ancient artifacts that date to the Middle Stone Age. Under the sun, Robberg, Central and Lookout beaches are pristine stretches of white sand, magnets for tourists, seagulls and dolphins, who bob playfully just off shore. Wildlife lovers will delight at the Birds of Eden aviary and Monkeyland. (How can you not have fun in a place called Monkeyland?)

We are a family-owned & -operated neighbourhood eatery right in the heart of Plettenberg Bay's suburban area. With a cozy reading nook, sunroom, fireplace and a lush garden area with outside seating and a sand pit for the kids, what's not to love? We make
Have eaten there three times, once had babotie which was fair, twice had the seafood chowder which was very good and good value the first time but had gone ubbeknown up in price and down in quality the second a week later, leaving me disappointed. The waitron I found to be rather too buddy buddy and disrespectful of my age.I shall not be back as the prices are too high and the choices too limited.Dear Garth, the first time you had it, it was on a special offer (promotion). We did make you aware of that upon you asking for the chowder specifically. I'm sorry if you feel that a chowder with prawns, calamari, mussels & hake isn't worth R85. As for the quality, you are, of course, entitled to your opinion. We are all human, so it's obviously possible that we could have slipped up in the kitchen. I would like to invite you to come and have another chowder. If you honestly don't enjoy it, I'll pay for it.

Very upmarket lifestyle centre in the heart of plett with great views
Looked a nice place from the outside but the menu was very limited Drinks were even worse with no draught beer and the worst wine list I have seen in South Africa. No named areas just Western CapeWe waited half an hour before receiving our starters and another 15 minutes for the main.Mexican steak had a nice sauce but very tough Other meals were OK as we wanted nothing elaborate Bill was good value but a poor overall experience

Casual dining On Central Beach Overlooking the Tsttsikama mountains Relax and enjoy schools of dolphins whilst selecting a meal from a vast menu
we ate here, and the food is very oily indeed. all food seems to be cooked in the same oil, so the smell permeates into the fries, from the fish, and into the calamari etc. Our group of 8 didnt enjoy the meals here, but the views over the bay at the top are good. rather go to Fat Fish for a mealThank you for your comments They are noted in the strongest manner and will be dealt with

Our club restaurant is situated right on the beach and offers a relaxed eating experience. All food is freshly prepared and there can be a wait for food but enjoy the call of the gulls and keep an eye out for dolphins and whales and see if you can spot ou
Sadly S Africa is plagued by power cuts and on our visit to the Ski-Boat Club cafe we hit one! But this is an unusual little cafe, directly set on the beach, could have served fish & chips, seafoods etc. We felt that the should-shrugging staff were familiar with these power cuts...so we had a drink & left. Shame. Worth visiting on another occasion.

Located in the heart of Plettenberg Bay, The Lookout Deck creates a comfortable and down-to-earth space that welcomes family and friends to make themselves at home while digging into fresh and effortless seafood.
We visited to watch the rugby final. Had to ask three times for menu. Table next to us got wrong bottle of wine three times. Menu has changed, food overpriced and small portions now. The restaurant has lost most of its charm. Couldnât hear the rugby anyways as they refused to turn up the volume. Pina Colada was good.Hi Elene,Thank you for your constructive feedback, we are terribly sorry we did not put our best foot forward and will certainly address your understandable disappointment with our entire team.We are glad that you enjoyed our delicious cocktails though and do hope to serve you another round or two some time soon...Benjamin and the Lookout Deck Team

The starter was not too bad, however, the main was totally unforgettable for being tasteless asked for a hot sauce like Tobasco or something similar but non was available. We found the place totally over priced for what you get. I ordered the fish and chips and received half a piece of tasteless fish. Not recommended at all.Thank you for taking the time to review Offthehook. We are so sorry that you didn't enjoy your meal and will use your feedback to improve our dining experience.

Beautiful location but service and food average. Focaccio is basically a pizza so mind that. Chicken liver was a bit disappointing. Coffee can be stronger but if you are around definitely come and enjoy the view. Hi Mara sorry if we didn't meet your standard with the chicken livers, the focaccia ordered, with gorgonzola and slices of tomatoes, is basically the same size as a pizza, pity you didn't talk to us, next time we will do the chicken livers the way you like them.La vita e' bellaEnrico
