A hidden gem tucked away in the forest. Located in the heart of Little Holt Hill, our extraordinary boutique-like Hot Chocolate Cafe serves artisan dark chocolate desserts and confections, small nibbles, delicious local coffees, and delectable Belgian hot
The Chocolate Cafe is owned by a very creative couple. Linked to the cafe is their studio where authentic Venetian masks are made and sold. Call ahead to ensure that they are open as the winter months are very slow. We were a party of 6 and were treated to a talk on Venetian masks which was fascinating and lasted almost 45 mins. A trip to the shop is a must. Their masks are export quality. The chocolate demonstration would have been good but for the fact that the quality of the chocolate was not great. Teas and coffees are also served in a quirky garden setting. Worth a visit

We had a light lunch which was tasty and served quickly by friendly staff. The view over one of the ponds was fascinating and we were able to continue watching the birds...scarlet ibis, weaver birds, egrets, spoonbills......the list goes on! The cafe also has free wi-fi. After eating we were able to go back into the reserve for the afternoon.

Ask your waiter what dishes (s)he recommends, then you might get it right. Look at their body language and listen to the small hints when you order, you might realize that you are ordering something that is not good.Definitely not to be recommended is the Seared Tuna Salad - the tuna was really not tasty I can honestly say it is one of the worst salads I had.The Kombucha fizzy cultured fermented tea not nice, suppose it is for a specific connoisseur to enjoy it.The rest of my family were happy, but I definitely got it all wrong.

Always the sharpest service around! Owner I presume because he works so hard delivers top notch service and remembers how you like your coffee! Location is spot on for a pit stop when shopping in Plett, lots of outside tables with shade to watch the hustle and bustle of the shopping precinct while sipping a drink. We have light lunches here and they never disappoint and are reasonably priced.Thank you so much for your warm and kind words. We work hard at our service and appreciate the positive feedback!Regards,Management.

Our food was very nice, although it lacked flavour. The pizzas had plenty of topping and were very reasonably priced. The ladies serving were pleasant, and attentive. I love the chilli sauce served in a skull jar!If I had a complaint, the place is very untidy inside behind the bar and till counters
