Apple pie better than mum made and dirty dang dang noodles. Friendly staff, the only problem was the noodles came out with coriander on top and it was not on the menu but the beautiful staff replaced the bowl as her brother shares the hate for coriander. #fukcoriander

A lovely location, beautiful gardens, safe places for kids to play, plenty of nooks for eating inside and outside. Got a homey feel and comfortable décor. Wait-staff are very friendly and helpful. Food was disappointing. Presentation of food was OK and it was served in good time.Fish overcooked and having paid for Barramundi, was given Snapper instead (the 2 pieces of fish tasted different). I pointed this out to wait-staff and was told what happened.....we had a chef and cook at our table......Pork belly salad was a tad small on pork and the crab and prawn salad had small amount of prawn or crab.I figure this must have been an "off" day for the restaurant given the recommendation we had been given. Thankfully, we did not have to pay for the 1/2 eaten fish meal.

Went her yesterday for Lunch with Family. Had looked up menu on another site and was at first confused to not see the dishes listed. The menu I saw was Dinner menu, but their smaller Breakfast/Lunch/Brunch menu is still varied enough for everyone to find something they like. There is sandwiches/rolls, vegetarian and a couple of Daily Chalkboard specials. The Breakfast menu is available ALL DAY so perfect for Brunch. Drinkswise there is the usual tea/coffee/soft drinks but they also do Smoothies... fresh healthy yummy smoothies. I had one of the Daily specials âEggs Royale â ( Eggs Benedict but with salmon, asparagus and sourdough) and hubby had the other ( not sure of name ) which was chicken in a creamy curry sauce with spaghetti and cherry tomatoes. Hubbyâs parents had a Breakfast menu item( again the exact name escapes me) which was sourdough with poached eggs Halloumi and asparagus on top. I had one of their smoothies... the â Green Smoothie â... it had Avocado, Spinach, Celery, Coconut Water and Yoghurt in it. The smoothies come in two different sizes Small and large..I chose the small... which was the same size as a normal milkshake...so very generous... the others had icy cold water... free on the table... and the staff happily replenished the bottle every time it was empty. Staff very friendly , the meals beautifully presented, generous portion size and customer service is excellent. There was a very tempting display of cakes/slices on offer too..but we where too full to indulge. All up the meal cost $73...for 4 people... so not el cheapo... but reasonable for a lovely meal. We looked at the Dinner menu... and thought about returning that night for dinner...but didnât as other things came up. Another thing I would like to note is the smoothies are VERY filling... I was very full after it and a generous meal ( and I hadnât had breakfast and only had a very light evening meal as I was still quite full ... if you get a large smoothie maybe get a sandwich or something very small with it... hummm perhaps a very healthy smoothie and a nice thick slice of cake isnât so bad... the smoothie is healthy so itâs cancels out the cake calories ( wink)

The Strand Byford is a picturesque lakeside Restaurant & Cafe, fully licensed in the thriving Perth suburb of Byford. Open 7 days a week, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a modern Australian Cafe menu during the day, and a contemporary a-la-carte
We went to the Strand for the first time on the long weekend and they had the most amazing food and service. Everyone greeted you and was friendly. The food was amazing and the portion sizes where definitely value for money. Lovely meal.
Lovely pies as they have won the best Australian pie competition held in Melbourne 2016. The pies that we had were delicious. They also serve nice hot chips and fish.
A tiny winery where you will be greeted by owner Trevor Cooke, who will also make your woodfired pizza. A great selection of Rocksgate red wine and a very drinkable Verdelho. A superb afternoon

I came back on a weekday, work was a little stressing this day and I just wanted to get away, I grabbed my friend and we brought the dog along. We sat out to the side of the verandah under the umbrellas, you could see the old looking pizza oven to the side of the courtyard. And looking over the verandah to the tables below, the river full of lilies. I ordered the Reef and Beef and my friend ordered the Seafood trio platter. We were chatting away so i couldn't tell you how long it was, but when the food came out it just looked fantastic. I jumped in and the garlic sauce was awesome the prawns were plump and juicy. The steak was very tasty and cooked perfectly. The chips were moreish, even the salad was lovely. This meal really made me happy, so a big thank you to the chef. My friend also mentioned how much he loved the Seafood Trio and chips, he said it all tasted so fresh and well cooked. I left so much happier than when I arrived, even on this cold wet day. Thank you, everyone, i will be back again!

I ordered the spelt pizza for $19. When it arrived it was one single slice of very greasy pizza with a whole heap of salad items on the side. My partner asked for a takeaway cup so that she could take her drink away and the staff tried to charge her for a paper cup. She enjoyed her vegan burger, but again, the portion size was very small considering the price. Considering you can order an entire vegan pizza from somewhere like crust for the same money, I don't think we'll be back.Hi Rob, thank you for taking the time to write the review. Firstly, our menu clearly states that the spelt pizza is a slice served with a trio of salad. As we use seasonal roast vegetables and cheese, the grease content should have been low. We are a small local organic cafe specialising in fresh, organic healthy meals, crust is a large chain store with over 50 stores, they are not organic and therefore there really is no comparison and we never want to be the same as them. The takeaway cups cost us $0.20 each, and our mission is to stop the war on waste, we don't make any profit on them. However, when your partner explained it was for her beetroot latte she purchased, I gave it to her for free....Our vegan burger comes on a large focaccia bun with salads, tempeh, sauce and onion, I'm not sure how the portion size can be any bigger for $19. Once again, thank you for your feedback.
