Serving pasta and traditional schnitzel with a fusion of new flavours.
We were actually heading for the Japanese restaurant next door but we went in the back door, which we thought was the Japanese, sat down and got settled. Then I looked up and saw the olive and Oscar sign! Oops! They were busy but brought water and menus pretty much straight away. So we had a look at it and decided it looked tempting. Waiter came to tell us specials and they sounded good. So we ordered. It was really yummy! We shared an arrancini and a pasta dish. Delicious. Only a small place and it filled quickly. People were being turned away. Unexpected find but will go back!

Sitting down to watch, listen, smell and taste so many dishes being cooked was amazing. The chef was friendly and cheerful and so knowledgeable in his craft. Cannot even begin to describe how amazing the food was and there was so many little courses that I couldn't keep up! Will definitely return.

Atmosphere was nice. Wine list is very limited. We ordered one bottle of shriaz, halfway through dinner, ordered a second, but they had run out. Entre of prawns was strong, very fishy.Main of duck breast was delicious. Main of steak... ordered med rare... it came out med well done. Still nice but disappointed. Wine was poured by waitor at the start of the night but then we had to it outselves. No drama but just inconsistent. 3/5 underwhelming.
