Come and dine in one of the Wheatbeltâs beautiful settings, looking to our natural bush landscape, fantastic sunsets and sporting facilities. Based at the Merredin Regional Community and Leisure Centre on Bates Street.
Delicious food and friendly staff. Scotty looked after the kids with the kids meal deal. They loved the Ice cream and sprinkles. The best cooked steak and Dianne sauce I've had for a while.Grandstand Bar and Restaurant is a must when in Merredin.

Best tasting coffee in town. But still over priced and the service needs improving. Ordered a takeaway coffee and sat and watched the girl keep cleaning and fumbling around for 5 mins before taking the docket and making it. Ate there once and had a toastie which was fine but my friend ordered the bruschetta and it was below average quality. Menu said with avocado and it didnât come with one. Eventually after asking about it, half of one, not chopped arrived in a bowl on the table. So if you have time to wait around and you donât want to eat then have a coffee there. Plus it wouldnât hurt for the cashiers to smile.

The food was of a very high quality which exceeded my expectations. Starters and mains were very well executed. I must mention that the side salads with each dish were delicious and bursting with freshness, I think this highlights the attention to detail of the staff.

Under New Management as of the 18th July 2019. Kellys Bistro now open live music, great range of beers and wines.
Small dining room, with a limited menu but what was on offer was tasty, and very reasonably priced, with good size portions.I had fish and chips for around $13.50 and it was lovely. My husband had chicken schnitzel. There was nice small salad included with both meals, pasta and cole slaw. Young bar staff are friendly and efficient. Whilst there is only a Subway as an alternative to eat in town, this hotel is a good choice.
Well laid out and roomy and quite busy for Friday lunch. Did not eat here but observed when I checked into Merredin Motel. Motel is old fashioned late 1950s style but has been recently and tastefully made over and looks good. Décor features local scenes. Comfortable and clean. Within flat walking distance of the town's pubs and cafes etc. Excellent value for money. However motel is located not all that far from the Transcontinental railway line and the sounds of trains at night may be off putting for light sleepers. For others it is part of the character and charm of being in Merredin.
