We went there for an anniversary dinner because of the encouraging ratings and left very disappointed. The wine list was quite good and we ended up choosing a great 2010 shiraz from Margret River. After that the disappointments kept coming in. We shared a scallops starter for A$ 22 where we received 4 scallops which we felt were good and way overpriced. Our scotch fillets were relatively tough, quite fatty and did not offer any beef taste, however the mashed potatoes were quite good. When we complained about the steaks, the response was â the kitchen will talk to the butcherâ and âdo you want any dessertsâOverall our anniversary dinner turned into a desaster.

After a day of exploring why not enjoy a relaxing drink in our cocktail bar with floor to ceiling windows offering excellent water views of the port and bay looking out to Frenchman's Point. Often you may be delightfully surprised to see dolphins frolicki
We had breakfast here after our overnight stay at the Hospitality Inn and opted for a cooked breakfast. Whilst this meal allowed access to toast, etc... if cereal or fruit was also wanted, this was extra. I felt that if one is paying more for a cooked breakfast, everything else should be included (as it is at most other places). However, breakfast once it arrived was delicious. We had a window seat overlooking the park and marina opposite the Motel.Hi wycomgal,We are so happy that you enjoyed your breakfast with us despite paying extra for it. It's great that you enjoyed the view too.
Had a (very good) coffee here one morning during our Esperance break. Very nice coffee but also disappointing that only take-away coffee cups are being used. We're not 'green' type people but do recognise that these cups are not recyclable and prefer coffee from a proper 'cup'.

The Taylor St Quarters is a small bar and restaurant on the beach that serves beautiful fresh, local produce with complex flavours and textures. The Quarters has a relaxed and casual atmosphere, with live acoustic music on the weekends and a fabulous bar
We visited this restaurant due to the good reviews and we were not disappointed. We had 18 in the family go for lunch, and we were welcomed with a smile and the staff were more than willing to help. The food was not overly expensive and it was filling and presented well. Would recommend anyone visiting Esperance to drop in.

The cafe is in a great location with lovely ocean views. We visited for breakfast and placed our orders and then waited, and waited and waited. The cafe was not very busy so we were perplexed why it was taking so long. After 40min wait l went to the counter to ask how much longer & was dumbfounded when told the delay was due to the chef being busy preparing for that evenings specials! The food when it eventually arrived was ok but definitely not worth the wait.

Restaurant specialising in Western Cuisine with a subtle infusion of Bush Spices, Herbs and Foods. Freshly made cakes baked on the premises daily. Serving 'Five Senses' coffee and quality loose leaf tea.
We had a few coffees during our break in Esperance and found the coffee here to be on a par with those we like in Perth. Very friendly staff - not pushy - and a clean, tidy café. Shared a light lunch one day and that was excellent. Clearly a popular destination with locals!!!

We called just after 2pm and the lady said âthe kitchen just closed up but we are happy to open it back up for youâ. To save some time ( as we were all very hungry ) I preordered our lunch so when we got there it was a very little wait time. The food was delicious. Kids had pizza and hubby and I had the open burgers. Very satisfying meals and beautiful surrounds ( including very friendly staff ). Iâd definitely recommend these guys

I visited here yesterday with my friend after a big day hiking and we both received huge deicious burgers and a cool refreshing drink, just the trick! I would recommend the chicken caeser burger.. YUM! I also got a chocolate cake and ice-cream (as it was my birthday), the portion was massive and tasty.I also want to thank the staff, as I forgot my hanbag at the establishment and they went to huge efforts to contact me, even trying to message me via facebook messenger. Thank you guys so much. Honest people are hard to find.

Bar open at 4pm daily
This restaurant is absolutely lovely inside, great decor, great service, but the food was variable. The steak meal (which I didn't have) was apparently excellent. The camembert entree (which I had) was unedible. The fish curry dish I had was pleasant but not great, with very little fish and a great deal of sauce/liquid drowning it. The price is expensive, so we expected more consistency. The accompanying vegetable dishes were variable also. The cooked vegies were lovely, but the Asian greens were not Asian-style, more like a salad that had been heated. The garlic bread was lovely, but the herb bread was weird tasting and had a red colouring (?capsicum, ?tomato). It was such a varied meal with some outstanding food and some very ordinary food. But the service was very good and we had a very pleasant night there.

Fish Face will be closed from Sunday, 30th of June 2019 for the annual break. Reopen Mid August (TBA)
Extremely disappointed, after reading the reviews was excited but that was soon lost on the entree of Kirkpatrick oysters! No it was not Kirkpatrick! The un-skinned calamari, the over cooked scallops & the tainted prawns, the butterfish didnât even taste like butter fish due to the oil being dirty all you could taste was oil, not happy at all...
